You are incompetent she said
Not with words
With looks, smirks mostly
I feel this now
Begin my countdown
Making my escape
From a place
I no longer belong.

The girls of the typing pool felt I was important
Now they all know I am just impotent

Bad enough they knew I was incompetent
But I cringe now they know I’m incontinent

Premium Member Lizzie and Hal

LIZZIE was an incompetent witch,
Who was helping friend HAL from a ditch.
Her magic she tried,
Poor HAL was french-fried,
Left wearing not one single stitch.

Alone

ALONE

Deserted with his humour failing,
Walks alone, emotions trailing,
Ripped and broken on the floor,
A lover with a love no more.
Torn from it's cage and left in the dirt,
His incompetent heart,
Haemorrhages,
Hurts.

Voices

I hear them
Muttering, whispering, conspiring
Always there; creeping, sneering

Telling me
I'm useless, hopeless, incompetent
They hate me; despise me

I'm paranoid,
Gripping me, sucking my life and soul
Make me hateful; angry, suspicious

Losing it
Watching, plotting, spying
I'll get them; destroy them, end them

Futility

Oh! my extinct love,
secretively killing me,
Incapacitate.

It's fun- a reason
Having this sort of ennui
Love stabbed...piece of heart
Penetrating deep within
It hurts...so vulnerable.

Like brain-twisting poetry
numb...feeling of nothingness
no meter- nothing to write
so incompetent.

Premium Member The Evening Dies

Dusk
birds chirping before sleep
the sun has run away
stealing all that I love
the clouds
float past
they have stories too
that all become faded memories
incompetent fools

I wish I were a painter
this image I have expressed
would take me forever
then I could freeze time
and live in Iceland
where shadows live forever

Assumption

To assume is to judge
to accuse based on assumption
is incompetent.
Assumption without full knowledge
creates friction.
Choosing ones words carefully
shows respect and responsibility
as well as charactor.
An individual whom assumes and takes quick
action upon that assumption projects
insecurity within ones self.
Never Assume.

Premium Member Professor Snudzs Analysis

I’ve studied the matter, compared statistics,
evaluated lives with unbiased prejudices,
my research and facts painstakingly sourced –
though four times married, four times divorced –
call me daft, incompetent, or feckless
my conclusions are sound not reckless,
and the indisputable truth that emerges?
Men and women make the worse marriages.

Black Heart

The black mess of a heart that was
is filled with incompetent flaws
ablaze with memories so sweet
now doused with a soul incomplete

A face so bleak the features seem inept to it's face
a mind wandering to many an imaginary place
a limp body not affiliated in any way to the mind
because in this black mess of a heart the good is yours to find...

Im Sorry Daddy

What was I thinking
I should have prepared
Offbeat was my blinking
It’s clear, I don’t care

I’m only a fraud
Incompetent fake
An average facade
Even that isn’t great

Unfortunate victims
Who saw false potential
It seems that I’ve tricked them
With phony credentials

Make no mistake
This is not a confession
I, too, took the bait
Subconscious deception

Israel, Israel, oh promised land,
rise above Netanyahu, and take a stand..
Gaza's been blown to a shred.
7,000 Gaze an children are dead.
This militant revenge with it's pelleting sting
has created a Holocaust of suffering..
Netanyahu's actions will cause you more woe.
This incompetent leader needs to go..
It's time to find peace, to negotiate and
stop creating more terrorists in wait..

Premium Member The Makeover

Have you had enough of childish lies
and incompetent response?
Have you bathed in toxic manhood
until you long for nuance?
Are we going to save this planet?
Or will we all move somewhere else?

Will we turn our eyes toward justice
or become a failed police state?
I propose a national "makeover"
a new "US" to change our fate.
You adults will have to do this -
I only hope it's not too late.

Life Is a Privilege

Living in the moment
Intertwined with caution
Fondling with death
Endless absent-minded absorption

Innocent and naïve
Silent but deadly

Arrogant misconception

Phenomenal credibility
Reality sets harsh
Immediate results
Various humans scrambling
Incompetent lives ran up
Leeching to get upstairs
Entitled to nothing worthwhile
God hawks their sorrow
Eventually guiding them back down

Premium Member Once Upon a Mind..

Blackness fills the mind, as saddness decends.
Feeling incompetent, I cannot make amends.

Thoughts swirl, inside my mind...
Of Ideas and actions, not yet defined.

I would like to feel again and be free.
That is not, right now; a possibilty.

Trapped in this mental cage, for now.
Hoping to get help somehow.

If I should ever die, I'm the owner..
Give someone else a chance, I'm a organ donar.

Grab the Rail

Incompetent and scared
You’ll get caught
With your fingers
All unprepared
To carve the image
You have made

Say what you know
And never forget
To grow in grace
For you were placed
Here to change
The status quo

Being formal but kind
Will help you pass
The structures set
For your decline

Grab the rail
And hold on
While life sails
Cover your head
Note the haven
And return
With the next tide

Incompetent Government Chronicles

Forestry Service and Bureau of Land Management
I don't know, maybe this year, you do your damn job?!

Maybe this year, you anticipate the obvious trend of massive fires?

Do you think fire lines are out of the question? Equipment pre loaded in quadrants, with watch-towers and water for extreme dry conditions?

Follow the windA**holes !-!Maybe the royal pisssTheCitizens
are taking
can hit you on the way out.

Hope Prevails

Hidden messages.
Subliminal.
Yet glaringly obvious to the keen observer.
I wouldn't have relations with someone incompetent.
So it shouldn't come to great surprise that I am seen through.
The intentions of youth obvious.
Yet Hope prevails.
The irony of the hidden message hidden in dab and shot soaked memory's.
Soon to be corroded from the flow of recollection.
A late nights morning.
Kissing the dry mouth of the dreary after a hard days night.

Word For Today: Patent

WORD FOR TODAY: PATENT

Ideas and inventions have commercial value if packaged as a PATENT
The document legally prevents any unauthorized use of the CONTENT
Many inventors have been plagiarized because the attack was LATENT
Pirates usually have subtle ways of stealing ideas; they hide the INTENT
Harsh reality is these beneficiaries of others’ sweat are INCOMPETENT
Registering trademarks, ideas and inventions make them quite POTENT
