My Toes

With tenderness, she caresses
My toes and calmly impresses
The gunk inside
Smelling aside
They are quite ugly, distresses

Iceberg

Idyllic illusion!
Immaculate impulse!
Incredibly idle!
Ignites inner insight...
Invites incitingly,
Intoxicatingly,
Impresses; influences...

Here She Comes

A well-endowed gal relished baring
her assets. She pranced about wearing
skin-tight skimpy dresses.
Such clothing impresses
the men, who just drool and keep staring.

Iconoclasm

If you thought
You understood why
Religions have their purpose
In the scheme of things
Think again
Symbolism
Religious or otherwise
Impresses deep
Into your psyche
Nothing but
What you think you
Know and believe
May be true
Or real.

WILL'S WORDS a birthday tribute

JULIUS CAESAR Act 3 scene 2

Friends Romans countrymen lend me your ears
for Sonneteer William Shakespeare
who impresses all who doth come near
Holding rhyme & cadence ,so dear.
plays in verse also were his poetic thing
Thus making our English lingo sing.

Lovesick

Though the chance to win your heart is bleak
If I see you I become lovesick

Wherever I go I can’t forget you
Oh I love you so much God knows I do

Whenever you hum a song of love
It seems so true that you are my half

Whatever you do impresses me
If you are a rose I am a bee

Trousers

Seams burst
the flatulent
filled blubber
seeps out
drowns out
the hope I once had
rips itself from the
confines
of a world that
impresses
and dresses
its people in
slim lifeless
shapes
and exposes
scared faces
shocked
at what they shouldn’t see
at what the mirror sees
and shames away from

A Note

Music’s voice enlightens
Lifts, caresses
Impresses

With hues of light
Flowing through
The heart and
Soul

Music erases pain
Creates gentle
Miracles
Within

With soft whispers
Of passionate
Promises

Music lights the way
For new moments
Cloudless rays
Sunshine

This is the way
Of inspiration
A taste of
Faith

roses butterflies

they're flowing
without the wind,
catching my performance
way at my feet,
I don't wish here,
until the caterpillar
shall bring,
My transformation
will have to sing,
and the catch of
bees before they
sting
and finally
I shall breathe.
Not a demise
but a butterfly
and its
gorgeous wings....
Impresses
the choruses

Back Together

we've been separated so many times
but i've not forgotten what impresses you
though you can't talk to me
my love
but i'm glad we are back together
though i don't know for how long we'll remain
because i heard what they said
when they saw me with her last night
ignoring the fact that we might have been just friends
we divorced so many times
but i can't remember if there was a time i forgot about you

Maze

MAZE
Blindly, I search for the way to your heart. But you are a puzzle, An enigma. There in your garden of Eden, You have built a wall around you. I have tried many paths To find my way through to you; Turning this way, twisting that way. I have tried the humour route; The romance road; Showering you with gifts. Even a glimpse of my sinuous body. But nothing impresses. And so I remain trapped; Lost in the maze that protects you

Arrogant Annabelle

Arrogant Annabelle

She looked in her mirror and
declared her self, "hot."
Poor soul, unaware that what
we do, impresses not a soul.
Naught!
Bobbing above all humanity,
Not one scintilla of humility.
She has it all in spades.
Other humans could never reach
her grade.
So in judgement, she stands.
Whilst standing on ever so shifting sands.
There's only one god in the universe.
To think we are Him is so pathetic and perverse!

Opening My Life

On the journey to find myself
In a world of chaos
I dive in to take a better look
To find inspiration in a new light
The chance to take flight
To the horizon amongst the winds of time
Where freedom runs high
And I am more alive in the life of opened eyes
The chance to be me this time
To take on the new challenges that arise
Bringing a new passion
To the life I see in mind
Where I am more the person
I am meant to be when the light impresses a new look to the quality of life

You, That's Who

It hits my nose
Vanilla rose
An onyx ring
Wow, can she sing!
This bluebird fair
With long brown hair
And gorgeous eyes
Yeah, butterflies
The brightest smile
Seen from a mile
Her very essence
Onstage presence
In denim, dresses
She impresses
Clicks and cues
And comfy shoes
Boots at times
The stuff of rhymes
Ok, I'll stop
I've said alot
But there's much more
I hold in store
The nth degree...
Believe you me
