Arrogant Annabelle

Arrogant Annabelle She looked in her mirror and declared her self, "hot." Poor soul, unaware that what we do, impresses not a soul. Naught! Bobbing above all humanity, Not one scintilla of humility. She has it all in spades. Other humans could never reach her grade. So in judgement, she stands. Whilst standing on ever so shifting sands. There's only one god in the universe. To think we are Him is so pathetic and perverse! November 22, 2019

Very well written, Panagiota. Sadly, arrogance effects not only Annabelle, but also many others! Eating humble pie will not kill, but it will provide a 'healthier' life. Regards // paul

So very true, Paul. I don't get making others feel small. What's up with that? EGO runs rampant. Like people drunk on their own nothingness seen as greatness. Worse, it's a lonely place to be. On top of a pedestal. Strong wind can blow you over. People are more fickle than faithful. I mean they talk a good story, but are full of hot air. Panagiota

Only the great I AM is God... the ONE and ONLY... I love Him. And your poem is lovely... Love, Gina
