we've been separated so many times
but i've not forgotten what impresses you
though you can't talk to me
my love
but i'm glad we are back together
though i don't know for how long we'll remain
because i heard what they said
when they saw me with her last night
ignoring the fact that we might have been just friends
we divorced so many times
but i can't remember if there was a time i forgot about you
