Markyate Hill

Markyate hill, is fading now
drifting leaves from dip to brow,
her yellow crown of ash and yew
does nothing to impede the view

Disability

My disability might impede me, physically,
but my mind runs rampant,
even if my spine abandons me sometimes,
my spirit always flames bright.

Suboxone

Suboxone
So simply
Subtle
On my mind
Envigured ensured
Begotten until
Rain on the edge
Of these clouds still
Will not impede this
Fortunate feeling
Of free feeling fine

Sabedoria

Sabedoria

Desde sempre
é assim:
aquilo que
sabemos
impede
a pessoa
de
saber mais.

Sabemos é
o “eu”
saber mais
é o “nós”
e assim
podemos
fazer
sempre
mais e mais.

Trump a Tiny Tot

Trump A Tiny Tot On Trial

Trump always did seem so infantile;
That was his manner and also style;
Diapers does need,
Which will impede;
Can you imagine him being on trial.

Soul With Chain

O soul with chain
love is in my vain
so leave me not in pain
for that I can’t impede
O soul with chain
jail me not in hell
for that fell me behind
so let free my hand
travel onto the land

Rain Falling and God Calling

Rain Falling and God Calling

We remember when the rain was falling,
So much and God us had started calling;
Help we need,
So can impede,
And results to us did seem so appalling.

A Need To Succeed

A Need to Succeed

Perhaps therapy will try and need
So some day will be able to succeed
Together, get whole, complete act
To others be kind and not distract
Stand in way of them and impede.

Trump Ate Seed To Impede

Trump Ate Seed To Impede

Trump had forgotten to select the seed,
He should consume and then could lead;
Likes ****;
Loser born,
And ate one making him want to impede.

Gun Violence a National Disgrace

Gun Violence A National Disgrace

Gun violence has become a national disgrace;
It could be here, there and all over the place,
Plant seed,
To impede,
And we must come to gripes with and will face.

Toward the Within

As you became out
of control, out of touch,
out of sight, out of

your own depth at last
I learned that altering
for hinky pathways

will impede me from
knowing a higher self; a
journey toward the within.

I'M a Halfbreed

Yea I'm a halfbreed
Approval I don't need
I can plant a seed
From that I will feed
No need for greed
Need not plead
Might burn that weed
Chase it with mead
Seems like my deed
Follow? No! I'll lead
Don't impede
You will concede
 Read!

Art of Expression (Poetry In Motion)

Art of Expression (P.I.M.)

All are welcome to this Poets' Session
Though some try to impede our expression
We would never show any aggression
We live in a country free of oppression
As poets, we live the art of expression

...I tag you, Audrey

The Hen Feed

(Chuckie Egg)

It’s perfect that the ducklings can eat Harry’s hen feed,
Because those you don’t like are not neutral individuals,
If they’re not for you, they’re against, trying to read,
Your every move so as to impede your grove, divisionals.

Hopeful Drop

HOPEFUL DROP
Sometimes we are just the last hopeful drop
There is nothing can impede our rising crop
Let's talk seriously about what you want to hop
The scorching summer have burned everything from the top

Pare

Pare

Pare de ser perfeita,
a obsessão
por ser perfeita
impede de crescer.

Entre em algo
que seja pessoal
e que signifique
algo para você.

"Pessoalmente" é a chave
para o que fazemos:
tem que ser pessoal
e dar tempo
para fazer mais e mais.

You

Expectations of oneself impede ones ability . Expectations frustrate , realization of oneself leads to farther growth of one's strengths . Feelings of envy of another lead to failure that comprises growth . For one to find their true abilities looking , mirroring another is useless .

No Guarantee

Food in the fridge, novels to read,
On Demand on the TV.
Bathroom’s supplied; all that we need
Is to be where we’re needing to be.

So much unknown so we must proceed
In hopes that we all can agree
That obeying the rules may this virus impede
But, of course, there is no guarantee.

Touch

Know more by touch
With less as such

Feel what you think
Here on the brink

See how you feel
In light that heals

Watch shadows grow
To impede flow

Touch knows the feel
In a stern will

Dare to live well
Where acts now tell

Follow Your Dream

Follow your dream
One step at a time,
Believe in what
You are able to do,
Aim for the stars
And you will go far,
Fulfilling your most
Cherished dream,
Follow your dream
No matter how far,
Don't let obstacles
Impede your way,
Let your conscience
Be your guide,
And let your faith
In God lead the way.

Life's Moment

An icicle melts as it forms,
drip by drop,
slowly presiding over time.
Ready to pierce my eye,
cautiously alert to cut my skin.
To throw, to thwart me
into the lake of fire.
To impede my dream
into depression, oblivion.

Slowly presiding over time.
Slowly reminding me of
Life's austere and long hallways.

Caught In the Act

From at least 8 trees, he could freely eat.
But unfortunately, that wasn't enough.
I should have known better than to
leave my pecans outside to dry.
Caught in the very act of eating my pecans, the
squirrel said, "Don't impede; I've got a family to feed".
