No longer asleep,
Wondering what I will find
This Christmas morning.
Since 'dross' doesn't rhyme with 'gross'
(as it could)
I'm glad that it rhymes with 'boss'
(as it should!)
Hush, not a sound yet
Everything is waking up
Listen, the trees speak
And with golden light so fair
All the world I see awakes

Monocrostic (Birthday of Aira B. Silva)
The echo hushed me
Whispered
“I’ve heard it all before”
gentle the air's hush
undulating through earth's dome
after a raged storm

our heart
murmurs
listen
to it
soul speaks
softly
gentle
each touch
heighten
focus
that love
agape
sparkles
within
Life is a dream, rest in playful jest,
befriend silence, give soul some room,
to be by God’s grace blest, lest
mind-womb becomes our tomb.
“ koo, koo” high pitch whistles
" Hush"! red bead seed cuckoo bird
My baby can not sleep

Blanket
too heavy, thick~
swallows screams in my ribs.
Hollow cathedral where echoes
once lived.
Light falls without claim,
a gentle hush on the heart~
pure, unbidden gift.
Even the weary rise up
when grace remembers their name.
it's not injury
jury's in
it's all in your head

hush the blush
gentle touch
hum love songs
quiet roar
void listens
be mindful
know by touch
deep wisdom
love and light

Hush, hush sweet cousin Charlotte
Don't tell them what I've wrought.
Just let them all think
you require a shrink.
They saw your hands stained scarlet.
Still lakes can listen
A babbling brook cannot hear
Cast your words with care
Into this sea of people
The source, the flow, from the mouth
Listen to the hush
nature provides for our soul
Take time to reflect

slow down thought
gentle touch
the void throbs
inhale bliss
exhale joy
our heart feels
love and light
we are that
our soul knows

slow, slower and slower yet still we be
a butterfly floating in the air carefree
the ripples that arise
we behold in surprise
embracing and releasing on a bended knee
To state the truth stark,
heart’s insentient to love,
so my soul lives in the dark.
No matter my love,
relinquishing thought flow crutch,
feel God’s grace within by touch.
Mating Chorus Hush
bullfrog baroom fades
fall appears delicately discrete
ladys have vanished
soon in mud cradles
far below lace snow and ice
green creatures sleep deep
"sleep now, my sweet pea"
new mom coos a lullaby...
to baby daughter.

Hush
their private moment
is none of your concern
whispers
harsh male sounds of victory
and possession
fire my heart
oh
oh
eyes close
and his his hands are on me
in my dream
Hush little one
Hush little one
Mommy is near
Hush little one
Hush little one
Mommy is here
To hold you tight
All through the night
So, hush little one
Hush little one
Mommy is here
Hush little one
Hush little one
I'm always here
Hush little one
Hush little one
I will be near
Just-in-case-you
Wanta shed a tear
So, hush little one
Hush little one
I'm always here
