Moving at the pace of a turtle
pick up the pace there is no hurdle!
Kindly move over
can't go any slower;
If I hop past you don't startle.
Across a roadside that's fertile
Came this reptile and a hurdle
As he hid in his shell
A nice driver did yell
Just cross the road little turtle
every obstacle
creates
a barrier
every barrier
a fence,
every fence
a hurdle
this in turn
begins building
a wall
ran out
of obstacles
the end

let
peace
be a
baton
that
mankind receives
while
completing
every
hurdle and
every
twist and turn
and
letting peace
pass her baton
bringing sweet victory
around the world
The traitor
seized fond dreams
and rent my soul
on a hurdle of nails
hauling innocence
toward sour odours;
the steel nemesis
christened cosmetic
under searing light
and coerced oblivion.
I ran the distance
hurdled the thoughts
the track not clear
in this dismal fog
breathless, fatigued
I jump over them all
the end in sight
one hurdle calls
and as I leap over
I smash into the wall
A fire in one's eyes,
who sees the target ahead.
A leap in one's legs,
who will jump over any hurdle.
A barrier in one's mind,
to block the forces that be.
A treasure in one's heart,
of the gathered love of one's self.

or even an elephant too.
but this time its too much,
obstacles too big,
more like an avalance has fallen right at my feet.

Then another
But we have each other
so we remain together
our bond grows

With every hurdle

I was badly in need of a lantern,

A bat had battered on my hat,
And on my face had swat,
On many a hurdle did I stumble,
But what kept me going,
Were the fireflies of love
