Farewell to Whitney. An angelic voice is still. We will remember you graced us with your music. We have lost a great treasure. Whitney Houston (1963-2012) From a news story found on AOL

Premium Member Crocodile Tears

When you feel
No guilt whatsoever
Rolling in uproarious laughter
When you see
Some kid "crying"
On the witness stand;
Houston does have a problem
And something
Is really rotten
In Denmark.

She was a songbird like no other
Her light, her fire, drugs did smother

The impact addiction had on her, tragic
But whenever I hear her on the radio, magic

Trump Winey With a Thing Terribly Tiny

I thought you meant Whitney Houston
not whiney.

Trump Winey With a Thing Terribly Tiny

Trump may always be weird and winey,
When someone said his is terribly tiny;
Likes to brawl;
On wall scrawl;
His brilliant things seem to be so shiny.

Oh, Texas, as I sipped Savon Blanc emeralds I saw in your night skys
You're more beautiful than the Gulf Coast, where Corpus Christi lies
I found a lovely part of downtown Houston, much to my surprise
Where an angel walks in plain sight with stunning green eyes

Impromptu

orbiting around
my sun
floating behind
to the dark side
of the moon

Houston we don't
have a problem
no problem
at all in
fact

following a crack
a fissure line
leading to
what appears
to be

a hole
taking a better
look thrusters
going down

Houston, We Have a Problem

Houston Houston, we have a problem.
My wife has created a mayhem
She is stuck in the gullet
                                    It's not my wife,a mullet
She has just reached her cerebellum

Winged words of milk chocolate melody
Her gift of soul of ruby song rang
Inside me like charismatic cherry cobbler-a blackberry bell
That pure poetic power
Never will another fuchsia flower
Envelope our hearts with Whitney's divine uniqueness

Houston, We Have a Person

Became so fat he floated away
"Who the heck is that?", they'll say

Too much pizza, ice-cream, and pop
Parents should have told him to stop!

Five-hundred pounds of blubber
So much for land-lover!

Someday he will orbit Earth
So much for what exercise is worth!

If you eat too much be like him
Don't pig out on a whim!

Master Class

Buy a house in Houston
And be in for a surprise.
You cannot try the master bath
Or bedroom on for size.

For “master” in descriptions
Hints of slavery and so
The bed and bath are “primary,”
A helpful thing to know.

So many words are changing
It could be a real disaster
If we can’t keep up because of all
The rules to (uh-oh!) master.

Grandma You Are Gone

Grandma you are gone
As you died in your sleep
At the ripe old age of ninety-six
You were always so healthy
Except at the end
You helped my mom raise me
To me you were like a mom
You were never lazy
And worked so hard as a nurse
For those suffering from throat cancer
In Houston
Yes, you were a beautiful grandma
You will be dearly missed

I Look To You

(in Memory of W. Houston)

After all that I've been
through
The trials and tribulations,
tried and true
PEACE, I ask of you, for
My curfew
Because I've done ALL,
that I can do
This I would grant, "if on
the other foot was the shoe"
Although, My Baby, "Bobbi-
Kris", it'll make her blue
Yet, it's over and done with,
"that Bird has flew"
Now, LORD, do "I LOOK TO
YOU"
