Grandma You Are Gone

Grandma you are gone As you died in your sleep At the ripe old age of ninety-six You were always so healthy Except at the end You helped my mom raise me To me you were like a mom You were never lazy And worked so hard as a nurse For those suffering from throat cancer In Houston Yes, you were a beautiful grandma You will be dearly missed

Some like you were lucky to have a Loving Grandma for so may years. I had a Grandpa, that lived to 98! And when he was gone, golly, how my life changed. You inspired me to write a poem about him. Thank you. Panagiota Romios
