Hinted Head of Trump Was Cemented

Hinted Head Was Cemented

Snowman had been cemented;
Head was cracked and dented;
Rather odd,
Said to God,
And Trump should be vetted.

Emptied Eyes

Each memory a breeze
brushed cheek of hinted fall
when in the summer grass her grace so tall
seasons: winter, spring, come one or all
Never there, without her stare.
Never saw.

Hinted Trump Is Demented

Hinted Trump Is Demented

As usual what many may have hinted,
They all did determine he is demented;
Probable cause;
His small paws,
And on being crazy others commented.

Her Pyre

She laid her emotions on a pyre.
Took a torch and lit a flame.
A gust of wind kidnapped them,
Taking them into the sky.
Watching as her desires flew away.
A smile hinted in her eyes.

A Vibrant, Voracious Viewer

A Vibrant, Voracious Viewer

Remember being vibrant, voracious viewer,
Who of people and countries took a tour;
Many commented,
And even hinted,
Trump exceeded what they could endure.

Pollution Solution

Smaltz loved limburger cheese with passion
A fact that turned co-workers’ noses ashen.
The stench made ill all near his breath
Notes on his locker hinted at death.
Smaltz now finds cheddar fragrantly in fashion.

the person I want to be

the person I want to be

is certainly not to become ~ some idealistic wannabe

but definitely one ~ that pursues a legitimate fantasy

hinted a ventriloquist to his puppet ~ lost in soliloquy

Love Is Painful

I have tried,
But nothing works,
I take you out,
But no hinted looks.

I think your great,
You make me laugh,
In every way,
You make me smile,
When i'm having a bad day.

I ask you out,
And you say no,
I get sad,
I lose control.

Cousin Blanche Keeps Us Entertained

Cousin Blanche disclosed, explained, expressed and told.
Stories from the family’s past, many quite funny and old.
She hinted, insinuated, teased, and laughingly conveyed,
Mom said her lies were proof of her role as old maid.
We believed her tales, they delighted us so.
Whether or not they were true, we will never know.

Se123s

Deep into the forest green, three hunters did not dare bare their
Metallic arms; for they were built for destruction and in this
Peaceful place, they were not soldiers of fortune, but scientific
Experiments. It was beginning to rain and the rumble of thunder
Hinted that the lightning might strike at any time and kill hunters.

Hoarder

Hoarder holds her hostage, heaps heavy history hysterics.
Her husband, horrific. Harried hugs humiliate. Hops, hits
hags — harmed honeymoon. Hiss harkened hellbound Harris.
Hysterical Helena hinted hate, harbinger hackles heightened, hot.
How? Hagfish homicide? Herbs? Homer helps Helena hack!

ABC Poem for Fun 2024

efficient Eddie eliminated evil Edna’s eyeglasses
flustering Frannie Florence, furthering father’s frankness forever
generous Ginnie gave glasses glorious glam, gluing garbage
hallow Hal hinted heroics, having Henry’s huffy habits
ideas ignited, illuminating idiocy in Illinois, Iowa and Idaho
juicy judgement jockeyed jointly, justifying judicial jury

Was Not Intended

Was Not Intended

Was not intended
When my endeavored ended
Rules were amended
Into air blended
Casket cemented
She had consented
Car door was dented
My eyes had glinted
Answer was hinted
Not oriented
I had relented
Vessels were stinted
Ended up suspended
Room was well-vented.

You get to pick out last one you
want for last line. Jim Horn

Melodrama

The Gothic Quest had best
Not seek to really wrest
The truth from underneath
Time’s tightly shrouded sheath.

Across each quaint old tale
Is stretched a taut black veil
To cloak the primal dread
Hinted at, not said.

The creaking castle door—
The trap door in the floor—
Mere stage props in your soul:
Each man has a start.
There you play your part.

The Dawn

The Dawn

Dawn’s drunken dragon yawns
from his fiery bed
slowly sending steam to rise
salmon – peach
Breathing hinted color upon darkened sky

Lifting weary head
ache he roars
coral – copper glowing light
and burps his pungent morning breath
blazing
fire engine red, burnt orange, sunburst golden flame
firing sky
awake

Sound Asleep Did Bury Deep

he is sound asleep
did bury my dead cat (Henry) deep
then will cry and weep

no more reliance
life is full of avoidance
contains defiance

each night seems so still
when we did hear whippoorwill
on our windowsill

God always hinted
wait until He consented
then to church sprinted

we gave God a test
kill sinners who are a pest
help bird build her nest

Winter's Bench Mark

A park bench sits empty
Dawn dew dappled
An unseen shiver
Envious of the shaking dog
Senses a loneliness
Hinted at by Winter’s chill
Passersby now scurry
Heads down, breath steaming
The squirrels will no longer come
Nor the pigeons
Cold winds will scourge the trees
Denude them of leaf and bird.

The bench imagines the dew drops
To be its farewell tears.

The Lady Down the Lane

Cold and lonely vines cling
-desperation in their naked rattles
and envy in the hint of gold on the hedge
from the taunting forsythia.
She had always crept out by now
on these seductive days that hinted Spring,
hands softened by nurturing
african violets, bright bromeliads and
the hanging spider, witness of many
years gone and now passed.

Until at last … no one came …

Jack Facing a Smack

One day Jill was going uphill.

She wanted to make herself chill.

Spotted a lucky Robin's quill

Jack got in her way and stood still.

She waved the quill and tried to spill

Jack liked it and hinted his will.

Tried to snatch it away from Jill

She slugged him on face with much skill.

Jack fell down making a loud shrill.

Jill got upper hand, what a thrill!

Away In a Strip Mall

Away in a strip mall,
no strip did I see.
That strips might be sold there
means nothing to me.

And then I thought strip tease!
I walked all around
but no naked ladies
were there to be found.

No cute guys there either
in nothing but thongs
who hinted that maybe
they’d show us their dongs!

There’s Vegas strips, so why
not say a mall STRIP?
I went to see strippers
but wasted my trip.

A Book From My Childhood

A Trixie Belden Mystery Novel!
lost in the bowels of the closet
Opened the missive slowly.

Felt like coming home
Smell you can get nowhere else
From nothing else
Wafted into my nostrils.

The smell of an old friend,
A book from my childhood
It is not found in any sprays or candles.

Cannot be duplicated, replicated or even hinted at.
The smell of an old, familiar, wonderful childhood book.

Holding On

I know this is real,
I’m spinning in circles again,

I don’t know which way to turn,
Or if I should turn at all,

Because I’m still holding on,
I never let go,

I remember the rain,
The ever-biting cold,

I fought it off through the night,
With naught but your smile in my heart,

And I’d do it again,
A thousand more times,

If you so much as hinted,
That it meant something to you…

I love you…

Xiv: Forced Excursion Again

Sir –
Late in the noon as usual
Came the vergers with the sharp bells
(Prof, a roused lad saw not the Vicar)
Announcing another blessed excursion;

Of course, Sir –
The endemic hubbub
Reigned in the nest
To be vacated in a hurry;

And the piecing bells
Hinted of the swords in the rafter
Plunged in full poise by pig-watcher
(Prof, a roused lad saw the inscription)
‘Flee, meet the siren at midnight else!’

God My Attorney On a Journey

God always hinted
What we did He consented
to church se sprinted

went on long journey
while God was our attorney
our sins would bury

when we would grapple
God did give us an apple
took with to chapel

we looked way out far
Saw God who is shining star
in Carolina tar

born in land of free
God was like a shining sea
flowing over me

while sitting on shore
God made rain which would pour
He made more and more

Ghi Times Two

He slid his feet deeper into the stirrups
As the body beneath him collected
connecting with his feelings
Two centers of gravity locked in alignment.
Walking on four feet seeing with four eyes
Communicating with twitches of hinted movement
To be this aware of each other and everything
sent shivers of joy through them both
What a day for a ride
Too chilly for bugs and the after rain air tasted of pine
He patted her neck as she blew
