The Pirate
Let go,
I'll ride the high seas
And there my vessel to leave
Wait for the pirate to come
And abstract my flower
and quench my fire....

The pirate ship sailed the high seas
Looking for other ships to seize
Taking jewelry, mainly gold
Those pirates were bold
Until they robbed a ship fill with disease...

Blackbeard
Twas never pirate more feared or revered,
than that salty seadog known as Blackbeard.
With his motley band,
and ship the Queen Anne,
he sailed the high seas to treasure he steered.

Oh, Boy!
The world is reeling:
Athens is up in flames,
Somali pirates in the high seas,
No leads to the Mumbai bombing,
Bailout plan did not pass Congress.
But the biggest news of them all -
VP Joe just bought a new puppy !!!...

Bold Buccaneer
BOLD BUCCANEER
A wicked and bold buccaneer,
Patrolled the high seas with no fear.
The kings excise men
Tried time and again,
But never got anywhere near

THE PIRATE
A pirate sailed the high seas
Robbing and killing throughout
The Markees
He even stopped to the Island of Belize
And tried to destroy, their armies
But that army did fight back
Knocking his ship out of Wack
The pirate went down singing a song
Never admitting that he was wrong

If You Are African
if you are African
but you see not light
then your eyes betray you
if you are African
but you have not exciting job
then your search is wanting
if you are African
and you say this is hell
then get heaven across high seas
Africa the fatherland
twinkles with father’s love...

Email Files a Case
Email filed a case
In the Town Court.
He told Magistrate;
“Your users use me
carelessly non-stop
to carry messages
to their lovers far
some too near here
Others send me daily
on risky dark voyages
across the high seas.
My case is, as laborer
my wages are not paid
and rights to privacy
are not respected.
What should I do?...

A Pirate
A Pirate
There once was a pirate called Mangon
Who raped the High Seas with a fangen*
But one night at Port
They captured the sport
Now crows rape his bones where he's hangin'!

Pisces
I'm split, like the face of a Pisces
Battling it out, trying conquer the high seas
I might freeze because it's icy
Chattering teeth beneath the white mist that I breath
I tried to leave too soon
Under the glow of the moon
Thunder poured into a desolate room
It gets a bit gloom throughout a decadent doom
But still I rise above and let my truth loom...

Shipmaster
Shipmaster
Son with the Air Force in Korea
As a child
you drew boats and ships
and kept their shapes in mind
while you were growing.
Large battleships safeguarding
a small boat
sailing fearless wayward
on the high seas.
Now you walk the actual steel
and feel real salt against your face.
I pray
for the continuing safety of
your sketched harbors...

Glitches
It was more than
I could take.
The phallic paranoia.
Can I come out of
your body and kneel
before death ?
Less than dark
I dream of the nipples
spurting out venom.
A pumice raft
of the crowd, sailing
on the waves of narcissism.
Invisible sharks
on high seas
open the lambs for salt.
Can you eat your
words please ?
There is nothing left on the plate.

Ye dirty son of a sea dog
Ye rotten pile o' bones
Ye'll see the end o' me cutlass
I'll intrrroduce ye to Davey Jones
Ye'll not be getn me treasure
For Ive the map ye see
Ill set ye adrift in a leaky skiff
And food for fish ye'll be
Me chest be filled wi diamonds
And rubies, pearls and such
But ye'll be treadn water

Gratifying Moon
Steely, stealthy moon
Sculpted milky dune
Sparkling silver spoon
Sitting in its cosmic shoon
Free-floating gaseous balloon
Diviner of the celestial room
Crevasse holds fabled man in spittoon
Residual sunlight doth carefully prune
To sailors on the high seas a boon
Beacon for nocturnal creatures to croon
Harbinger to vixen, villain, buffoon
Cover for miscreant, spinster and poltroon...

Waiting For Godot of Vaccine
“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings.” Isiah 52:7
Like voyagers on high seas scanning the horizon, restless souls
seeking deliverance from hunger, death, and disease,
heralding fresh vigor from the dawn,
however hope does infuse with flesh, like
oars on the waves,
a semblance of life, a murmur or breath caught
by bright cadence of Spring, the master plan!...

Praise To My Boyfriend
You are a good navigator
in high seas of feelings
you know where storms are
against which you sail
without drowning me
You know extremely well
where to pour water to cool
the burning ship within me
Good sailor, prove your skills
steer the ship to the shores
Take me to beaches of love
let me have a feel of nature
of the cool breezes around
away from the tidal winds
empty energy, nature waits...

The Caravel Moon
The Caravel Moon with its dark grey sails on the high seas of a stormy dark blue sky
on the flickering eve of Candlemas. I watch from a light house those sweet enemies
querulously contest on the wharf of the Stade de France on a clear Parisian evening.
The man's game was won by Les Blues, yet only England of the northern hemisphere
sides have won the Rugby Union World Cup with The Kick of History in ancient 2003 AD....

The Ship In the Bottle
The Ship In The Bottle
Who can't admire the ship in the bottle
that sits on the mantlepiece of a stately home
with it's windblown sails, its row of cannons
and it's loyal crew.
A ship that will never encounter storms
or risk danger of running aground on jagged reefs
never seeing action or battling the high seas
and never discover new lands.
A ship of dignity, imprisoned in a glass dome
it will always remain the ship in the bottle....

Battle For the High Seas
Lo and Behold
A Subterranean grip
Alas a woman's mass appears in this Word Trip
She cries for Ahab to head ashore "Give the creature the slip"!
Avast a wide mast unfurls across the ship
The Captain's cries for the harpoon are drowned out by the cracked whip
The wondrous size of the White Whale appears from the drip
The sheer weight of the beast causing the schooner to flip
The showdown is on
between Captain Ahab and Moby Dick...

40 Lashes
What if lighting were red and the sky the
purest white........he thought.
He was used by the pace of life.....the pace of NOTHING
He stared at his hands...the cuts over the knuckles,
Slices over the palms.
His hands looked like the back of a man
who received 40 lashes across his back
from a condemned ship sailing the High seas.
Today it was all about pain and the release
of being the one reliable witness to this penance....
