canvass of color
like a slide show changing
a testimony
of all my trials and heartache
specks of white, healing power...
Oh ache, oh heartache go away; sweet sleep, please come to me
These tears, these rolling tears must stop - I need to be set free!

Grief
Grief
Tears
Heartache
Fears
The hopelessness
The yearning
Silent
Cry
Asking
Why
Another candle’s
Burning
This heartache has been so sad,
You once made me feel so glad,
Yet now it hurts more than a tad,
How you left me to go slowly mad.
Heartache expected
Love Fleeting
Past Present all in one
but never ever leaving
Endless nights and days
still memories shared.
Form:
Long was I forced to do for us both,
Now, all I want is you.
How can my heart understand what it does,
Yet, still have that be true?
A block among shells
her pale jugular, it meets;
the DNA stain —
where she breached in chosen gray,
heartache jumping in her feet.
I was fine alone
Then you showed me I was wrong
Love is amazing
You said you loved me
Then cruel, left abruptly
I know what pain is
I love you—I hate you,
now one and the same
Betrothed to a heartache,
all feeling profaned
(Villanova Pennsylvania: May, 2017)
i dont know why but i wish i new what becomes of a broken heartache.i dont
know nobody knows its confusing but 1 day we will figure it out
Who looks for love but finds it not
has not taken his best shot
Who finds true love without heartache
will never taste a wedding cake
HEARTACHE OF BEAUTY
Distant Thunder rumbled
Grabbed my sinuous wanton sunbeam
Who left without a kiss

crumpled paper, floor
grapevines, leaves on frozen ground

Haiku, ( heartache)
Feelings dangerous
Exploding my emotions
Fear repercussions
Of life’s blight on me
What terror these feelings pose…
Heartless emotions
Russell Sivey
It seems like evil’s done
All the heartache bestowed
I should be calm here
Let everything take its course
And say a heartfelt good-bye
Russell Sivey
Celebration chaos
Deafens to silence
This heartache
Fallen from my hand
Still holds
Shadows of desired risk
Dance to me
Sky boy in dreams
I wish to know joy,
Not heartache.
I wish to know sunshine,
Not rain.
I know blue skies,
Don't last always;
Will you stay here,
When they're gray?
The days of old, hold
A promise for the grey world
Not wanting heartache
Must relive the past
Having decisions to make
Don’t want pain again
Russell Sivey
Name dropping success…
a first name basis with failure
Hope into the wind,
heartache on the approaching storm
(Villanova Pennsylvania: June, 2020)
Sadness fills me
Heartache shrouds me
Anguish consumes me
Need overwhelms me
Endless tears unseen
DESPAIR (the utter loss of hope)
Frivolous action,
begets random outcomes.
Heartache and despair ensue.
Reasoned action,
entails planned results.
Success ensues.
Heed your actions.
The rainbow watches
As the sun reflects her smile
After spring's lament
Seeing spring's heartache
The rainbow comforts her tears
Ending spring showers
Im numb and can no longer feel pain, my heartache has gone away, the floods in my eyes no longer come
about, and the confusion in my mind has all poured out.
Form:
Whispering heartache unfolds in torture
Incisions decorate the outside of you
See the river of lost hope unfold in a pond of red
How many will know you are dead
