Heartache

Oh ache, oh heartache go away; sweet sleep, please come to me
These tears, these rolling tears must stop - I need to be set free!

Powerfully poignant, dear Neva ! When frozen sorrow melts into tears, you 'll feel light ! May cheer fill your heart in the place of sorrow. Thanks for your kind visit to my page !

Crying yourself to sleep; a good rest will make the pain go away; beautifully done.

The lovelorn knows that brevity may touch upon its entirety but it enduringly felt likewise knowing that sleep deprives its lingering and entertain in dreams, Neva. Nicely done my friend, Aloha~William!

I have felt this, pain so deep that it feels like a sword piercing the heart. I actually have kept a hot water bottle close to my heart to ease the pain when this has happened, and I sip strong rose petal tea which is suppose to be good for broken heart syndrome, and miraculously has helped me in the deepest heartache. My prayers will be with you dear, I'm going to write your name on a slip of paper so I am reminded to pray for you. May God bless you and heal your hurting heart Neva. ~BJ

I have felt just as you described in my life, where I just wanted to escape in sleep. I always got better - thank you, God. I think experiencing such helps build our awareness of others thereby being more emphatic. By this detailed comment I think you might know that I truly had appreciation of the emotion your poem was conveying. ... CayCay

Nice couplet! I say release all of the baggage via tears and go on and step into the next chapter of your book of life and so on and so on... Take care and God Bless!
