Thinking Out Loud

talk is cheap
and some truths
I won’t even keep

truths are wrapped in lies
at times they’re hard to see
or wait till Satan dies

Premium Member In the Men's Room

in the men’s room
with the lights dimmed low
it is hard to see
sometimes
   when you must pee
without
feeling down below

Your Doing Not Mine

You still love me
And i know that
Because you told me so

But its hard to see
How you could say that
Because it was so easy for you to let me go

Limited Vision

LIMITED VISION

Cats see us mostly as ankles
Small child is lost in a forest of knees
Grandad is mostly crinkles and wrinkles
Sometimes hard to see wood for trees

Tall Buildings

As the tall buildings go up east and west
Everyone touts theirs is taller and best
Though tall they may be
It's not hard to see
A library has more stories than the rest!

You loved me

When my mind is foggy I find it hard to see
The only clarity being doubt and inadequacy

It’s so much easier to run and hide
Than in others to confide

I wish it to be peaceful between my ears
Not just for now but for all my years

I Need You Now

I want you back,
I need you now.
I'm breaking
without breaking down.
And in the night
I scream and shout.
It's hard to sleep without you around.
I need to hide,
I need some peace.
It's hard to see you
without seeing me.
I need you now.

Fake

I fake my joy
I fake my laugh
I fake my happieness
As the days pass
What you see isnt real
Whjat you see is fake
If you think its reall
Then youve made an easy mistake
Its hard to see that i fake it every day
Itas hard to see that im not ok

Plentiful

Blessings a many, absent the insanity, so hard to see Taking me plenty, nights so unfriendly, to believe in thee Therefore I do not, resent the journey, honestly was fun to me Hereafter I could not, rescind the learning, plentiful blessed be

Premium Member You Know What I Am Talking About

Whether You can do it
is hard to see
I dared You to see if You can do it
I know You can do it
But part of me thinks You can't do it
So it's a challenge now
Is it for me
or is it for You?
Who knows?
But whoever gets it there first
Wins
Do we both win?

Girl

Girl, did ya ever find a guy and wonder
Why’s he seem more than a friend?
He takes you over and under
A starry night outside your bed
Can it be he wants to last?
He cancels dates just way too fast
The tension’s drawn it’s hard to see
The things to be that I can feel

More Than Conquerers

Life blasting past; too hard to see
Almost web of insanity!

Try to be human - don't conk my brain
Oooh - to just imagine the pain!

To be worrried about a scream
Rather have some ice-cream!

Growing up... not quite sure how
Pat my back and give God a bow!

The Tower

High up in your lofty tower,
The rosy windows gleam,
Casting such a pretty glow,
Over everything beneath.
The battles, look like dancing.
Arguments, drift up to you like a lullaby.
As you sit there in your peaceful delusion.
It's hard to see through rose covered eyes.

Don'T Forget

Midnight skies
and wondering clouds,
makes it hard to see the stars.

But don't forget
they're always there,
even when the night seems harsh.

The coldness
slowly creeping in,
makes you want to sleep.

But don't forget
there isn't snow,
without the lack of heat!

Magic On the Water

She made a wish
Upon a leaf
And placed it
In a running stream
But with so many
Leaves that fall
It was hard to see
This one at all

Yet in his eyes
And in his dreams
This leaf of wishes
Could be seen
Among the many
Leaves that fall
He would not miss
This one at all

Premium Member Unseen Color

There is a small flower,
that often grows everywhere.
It is tiny and hard to see.
Often, considered or thought,
a
weed.

Yet...

This little,
special and unique
flower,
came from an even smaller seed.

Faith.
It…
is the promise of spring
to every butterfly.

Premium Member Even the Mistakes

so hard to see me
the inside is not out
the trials and sorrows hidden
respect gained the hard way
never the easy way, no

a reverence for wit
an easy kindness gifted
deep set eyes shining
full of affection ever

before the love
comes the like
but I love

love all
even mistakes

Once Upon a Time

Once upon a time
Poems were writ in rhyme.
But in present days
They wander in a haze
Of unrelated lines
And metaphysic signs
That make it hard to see,
At least for you and me,
Where the poet’s going,
Or if they're even knowing
With such verse complex
Readers are perplexed.

Premium Member Falling Thoughts

The snow lightly fell
bringing thoughts with gravity
Windy, some areas hard to see
Wishes remain, things will go well

I felt the soft, cold touch
on my skin with gusting air
Hoping things will be fair
not wanting to ask for too much

Favors Of Nature

I get close to a good tree
I received good shade for free.

I dream to see a rainbow scene
In the midst of the outpouring rain.

It's hard to see the sun in busy fair
But it's clear when the sunset is near.

The river is so silent and clear
It disturbed when I paddle dear.
