Once Upon a Time
Once upon a time
Poems were writ in rhyme.
But in present days
They wander in a haze
Of unrelated lines
And metaphysic signs
That make it hard to see,
At least for you and me,
Where the poet’s going,
Or if they're even knowing
With such verse complex
Readers are perplexed.
