Smudges tell a tale
Two tiny handprints
Frame a tiny kiss
 ~ Fairest of them all

Innocence
A boy stands at the window,
showing his sister how to breathe fog onto the glass,
leaving tiny handprints that linger
and slowly disappear.

Across an ocean, the world is ending....

Untitled #48 / Til;Es of Remembrance
Tiles of remembrance of classes
long past, replacing blankness
painted handprints and colors and smiles
spanning the length of the ceiling, forever
reserved for the posterity of wandering eyes.
How glorious the sunset! Our days unforgotten!...

Your Road
i sit in my car,
idling with the burning engine.
my radio only plays your voice,
my rearview mirror only shows your car.
handprints plastered around the seat, the doors;
a part of you lingers,
except for the part i want.
headlights glow alone on the road,
circling around your neighborhood,
trying to pretend
i'm still looking for your house....

Handprints In Your Heart
Sometimes you got disheartened,
Because I was so small.
I seemed to smudge my handprints,
On the pictures down the hall.

But here’s the final handprint,
I left in your heart to remember.
Of the fragileness love of life,
Before I left you last November.

So when you think of me,
Know that we’ve not grown apart.
You must look within to see,
The handprints in your heart....

23:41 - the Small
The area shared with the back of a chair.
Where the spine tails off and leads onto a square.
It's the end and the start of all back and beyond,
Not the standard companion for skin to flesh bond.
But regardless of plainness you managed to find
How handprints and backbones can feel when combined.
Your boldness of action, no secret intent,
Cemented sensations no mind could invent....

Memories
Handprints on the wall
From when we were very small
Memories remind us
What's left behind us
Show us how we've changed
and what we've rearranged
Remembering when we were here
As if it were yester-year
Now it's shown
How we've grown
For the good
Like we all should
Now except this life
Work through the strife
Someday you'll be happy
You are able to see
How much you've matured...

Barreling
The limbs had the raw strength.
They were learning
to walk on the water.

The silver axe
will hack off the neck
after the daunting recovery.

In gestational surrogacy,
you don’t want
the incisors.

To kill a wanderer,
you need a howling-
wind, fledged.

A shoebox contains
the handprints of a skeleton
and liquid eyes.

The hunger has a blue
desire. A savage bite
will bring out the space.

Informative Age
Handprints cold,
Heart feels blank,
From young to old,
Family I thank.
As beauty falls,
Short to one,
The baby crawls,
Children have fun.
Wisdom speaks,
Feedbacks plotted,
Saving antiques,
Problems knotted.
Shielding length,
As wrinkles flare,
God given strength,
My life affair,
Leaking fault,
Numbers multiply,
A glare shares halt,
Others walk right by.
I may be old,
But please be kind,
I’ve grown bold,
A critical; instigated find....

Infatuation
Chartruese hues surrounding wide eyes,
catching glimpses of Kaleidoscopes
while the rain smears
what's left of handprints.

I stood there, intoxicated
Which was cut short by the blow
to my lower abdomen
ten minutes prior.

Damn, heart's hurling false feelings
that we deem reality
because of inexperience
in such matters.

Failed to harden my organ though
although i wished it had.
on the other hand
i am grateful for the experience....

Moonlight Sonata
Intricately designed castles With millions of tiny pebbles Sparkling golden sands of beaches Stretching at the edge of churning seas Become erased without a trace When high tide moves in rolling waves. Children's handprints, lovers footprints Gone, their presence a shimmering Missed perhaps by the misty seas But captured by lunar magnetism And the moonlight has been enhanced And her walk has turned to a dance. Handprints Appear In the Snow
one snowy wintry night. i lay asleep dreaming, it is the quiet of the night that lets you
go on dreaming. as i awake the very next day i want to go outside and play in the snow.
ive made my footprints in the snow and it is clear i dont know which way to go. as
handprints appear in the snow, i follow with my footprints, that now know which way to
go. during times of not knowing which way to go, it was the handprints of the lord
pulling me through the snow....

The Candle of My Life
Sticky handprints on my door
Muddy truck tracks across my floor
Laundry piling up galore
Imperfect photos for decor
These are the things a mom adores

Little feet headed towards my bed
The darnedest things my kids have said
Neatly cut corners on sandwich bread
These are the thoughts occupying my head

Watching as my babies grow
Learning things, they didn't know
Tossing a ball to and fro
Wishing time would go so slow
The candle of my life, I dare not blow...
