Innocence

A boy stands at the window,
showing his sister how to breathe fog onto the glass,
leaving tiny handprints that linger
and slowly disappear.

Across an ocean, the world is ending.

Innocence versus tragedy. I pray this battle comes to an end soon. Nice poem with so much emotion!

Wonderful to see your perspective again Heather...two sides here--love and hate--hope he draws a heart into the fog--hope we are responsible for a world they can cherish--seems to be a never ending hope--generation to generation--so I pray that the worst battles they ever face are sibling ones!
