Dirty worms squirming
Excavating with instinct
Wiggle brown wormy ~
Shoveling thick dirt
Accidently cut a worm
It wiggles in pain
In the shifting air
the sweet scent of candy corn

I bask in its glow
Mesmerizing heights
Are like the beauty of you -
Horizons shine on
Sharing is caring
Nodding off - I called shot gun!

I've hoisted too many Haikus
backed by several Senryus
My Questionku it would seem
where to point Monoku stream
and where to dump Dodoitsus
HOT HAIKUS
so hot!
a satanic breeze rustling
shadows sweat drip
so hot!
sidewalk sizzles
cracked egg fried mid-air
so hot!
birds won’t sing
earthworms gloat
vast blue ocean soul,
warm enough to drown me deep;
your love makes me whole.
bluebird, I must fly,
sharp claws choke my tender throat;
free me to the sky.
Wild sweet raspberries
The itch of poison ivy
Lightning bugs at dusk
Chlorine streaks my hair
Nose burns and peels, burns some more
Hated the swim team
A Shotgun Gleaming
Spent Shells make noise in the forceful wind
Bodies lay lifeless

Snowflake in winter
showing stillness and kindness
forgotten at spring.

Leaves should now race voices
Look! You're lifting bears
2. A terrible clock
Inspires my sleep: Next evening
I gathered fences
Hazel heart soul of gold
Amethyst art of story told
Indigo words speaking free
Kissing ears that hear breeze
Underneath the cherry blossoms
Singing birdsongs as we watch them
