A New Me
The rooms are the light now
With the outside reminding me what the breeze was. A new me is reborn.
Another year, another mile
Another tear, another smile
Another song, another dance
Another wrong, another chance
On seaside cliffs
Central Park to Trafalgar square
Soft coos in the air
Flying rats they call them
Found even here
One time my dad bought me a yellow rose in New York City
