Marie Curie - a Clerihew
Marie Curie, the radiant,
In wits and style above the gradient.
Declared she that wigs would be "in"
Along with glowing skin....

City
Making the scythe weep
for a less willing dead.

My acres live inside
a cast of ignorant Birds.

The gradient sinks its teeth
into glass and fame....

Perspective
Gradient into vast blue
Sorrowful and unexplored
Unsure if its even there
From ocean to ice crystals
Sky splashed with white lightning
it is so calm
but oh so alone...

Alone in blissful radiance
Awakened inner sentience
Feels the bliss current
Ascending a steep gradient
As we observe
Without reserve
Our trust childlike
Allowing the bliss spike
A natural miracle

Chasing Grey
Pieces of my soul
breaking in two

Fragments of my heart
beating for you

Glimpses of gradient grey
coming into hue

into view

Shadows of me
surrounded by you

Relentless red
meet beckoning blue

color my palpitating palette that grey once knew...

26 Minutes To Go
Out the window a gray gradient forms
Out the window a black cloud storms

In the room a light shines
In the corner a rat dines
In the street a child whines
Below the couch my shoes remain
Across the world a falling rain
In my heart a solemn pain

Minutes
to
go...

Its Not What I See In Here
That curve is wrong
the gradient to severe
that shadow bends the light
her every blink and breath
dragging me closer to my death
this paper pools my pencil
in unrequited lakes
fading lines that once were right
a smudge that breaks
my fingered tremor
touches that are never finished
Perfection never neared...

Trafficking
The arch
in the targeted killing
was the bet when you
lost your virginity.

A slow dance
at the cold river of flesh,
with genitalia wiped off.
I was constructing-

your genome
from you saliva. Prayer
was a form of begging
before an unpardonable sin.

The gradient
parting the hills will
find another arena
to start the game.

The Reality
magic oozes out of the sky
as it slowly turns
from a burnt orange hue
to a smoky ash grey
I look at it
as the grey slowly crawls into the orange
like a slow flood
consuming it whole
but the orange doesn't back down
the orange fights back with all its might
until the sky is just grey enough
for the orange to still be seen
the sky is now an orange-blue gradient
I will fight through this...

Golden moon in bloom Gilded beams dance on water Gleaming tide rising. Rolling waves of cobalt cascade ashore, subservient to time and nothing more. And the boom of crashing breakers punctuate the deafening silence. Cerulean curls color the reef, in gradient shades of ebony. For the night steals last light like a thief acting purely out of jealousy, darkness, its eternal destiny. (Verse)

Lily By the Stem
Lily, light and frilly, On the may day break; She mounts upon the hill Engulfed by the morning dew, In gaeity she blossoms wide and fair, Beset upon the breast, Of yellow, green distended bed. Oscillating with the glorious wind, Pleased to be a fleeting flower; Neither deploring nor resenting, It's petite existence, Coming to approbate, life is short but fair, Gradient, soft and delicate, A momentary dream in tune.

Darling In Water Falls
Darling in water falls
Down gradient of hill, rapid fall
Darling inwater falls overwhelmed by jet of water to throw mould soil
Soil rubbed as face pack
It is like a drama among fables
What the charms to feel one’s oat
Have to watch her petticoat
cute darling in wetty dress
Makes me refresh
A glass of lemon water too offers to lip’s thirsty
Her body, her mind, her stomach is in hungry
It could be rapid falls can meet up
But the shadow behind hill can not make up.

Live To See the Day
In the heartswell of night, I clasp the key
and treasure the light that shines on me,
through glistered flecks of drifting snow,
and starlit dark and moonbeam glow.

Holding my breath and biding my time,
in the back of my head plays a nursery rhyme,
'till gradient clouds of indigo hue
herald the fade to skies of blue.

Awe and wonder reflects in my eyes
that squint against the sunburst rise;
all shadows of doubt then chased away,
that I might live to see the day....

Mists
Curving ever slightly,
As lines blind brightly,
Aspiring and spritely,
They come together nightly.

These few words,
Say it all.
The song of the birds,
Comes before the fall.

As they sing their songs,
We all move along,
Unto the throngs,
Where the heart belongs.

Their songs ever radiant,
Pierce on a gradient,
From the vocal ambient.

Whispering on the breeze,
The leaves begin to freeze,
As the Mist guarantees,
The ice is home, atop the trees,
Winter is here, geez....
