I'm sunbird of the sketched skyline,
Soaring across soft sheaths
Of ebony moonflowers,
Inhaling gossamer death, tonight.
brazilian folklore
eyes of gossamer journey
large bird of strong core
warm heart of old witch's story
compassion and empathy
MOON SPOON
gossamer moon shine
boat rocks gentle back and forth
trees sway in the breeze

Gossamer breath borne
Infused with God’s refraction
Of MORNING sunlight

Come asylum's breath,
gossamer wings touch mine brow ~
Grant me refuge please;
then may my soul find comfort.
In your peace, my heart shall rest...
gossamer
threads of thought
illusions
our heart knows
deepest truths
by feeling
fearing light
makes us choose
delusion

Tricube
Like a fine mist that dissipates in air
or spools of gossamer thread
My thoughts go round and round in my head
'til I awaken and nothing is there
I spied a gossamer firefly, with big black eyes...
Kissing, her beauty's butterflies; together they flew
Beyound the residuums view; these taunting, cockatoos.
The sky is filled with happy things.
Every bird that I know tunes up and sings.
But somewhere up there, a butterfly grieves.
Gossamer wings don't fit into sleeves.
Gossamer petals, white
like fresh fallen snow
Blush delicate at its centre.
Caress this divine creation gently,
careful not to bruise its fragile beauty.
Reciting verse,
each stitch unthreads
Freeing moments,
before unread
The air vibrant,
all seams undone
Tapestry open
—silk re-spun
(The New Room: April, 2021)
On gossamer wings
she glides through neon moonbeams
singing while I weep.
Lovely muse - I should chase you ...
but cold Earth claims me again.

Thread cast, a lifeline
stretched touch, finger to finger,
poised for connection.
But without grip, can't hold on.
Out of reach, connection snaps.
If I could rein in yonder cloud
Entwine with love's ethereal rope,
'Pon gossamer, sweet Eros wove
Heaven bound, we'd gaily float
As dormant dreams of bliss, awoke.
What's this?... Voila! A Poem's appeared
Spun from gossamer strands... endeared
The words a-flowing... verses dancing
Serendipitous motion... timeless romancing
Ghostly apparitions,
Ghastly pale and scary,
Grisly and disgusting,
Gloomy shadows floating,
Grey hued forms in corners,
Gruesome, horrifying ~
Gossamer and wispy !
Glimmers of rose petals
Glisten on the skyline,
Gold, glittered with deep red~
Gloaming gems, mirroring
Gossamer silk of stars,
Gliding across a love-
Glazed garden of yearning.

**********
gossamer twilight
crimson bleeds into sunset~
alabaster hush
An elderly television speaks to her
in a deaf duplex.
Her garden is a cluster of cobwebs,
it rattles and spins its gossamer skeletons
by the shade of a spidery light.
perfections,
delicate
as gossamer:
the poignant
preserve
of a finite heart
mandated...yet
stricken
with a yearning
....so
unatainable
I soar to the heavens and beyond
with wings of gossamer I respond,
and in the light of the stars
God and I sing a few bars...
forever in harmonious bond.

sunlit tendrils simper
through knot twisted tree fingertips
ember ambers of umber
a missed mist of glitter glistened gossamer
rises like a sheered chiffon smoke
and dawns voice is spoke
Ripple the earth as they take to the sky
Gossamer wings lift them to freedom
Happy princess devourer
Nemesis of knights’ tales
Desultory on foot
Magic elixir
Born by fire
Mystical
Dragon
Gates of hell were opened
Guttural groans were heard
Grotesque ghouls overhead
Gowned in gossamer gauze
Gnarled fingers reached for me
Guilefully, they took flight
Gory night of bloodshed
icy spring raindrops
diamonds on gossamer webs
cold spiders shiver
