A Butterfly Grieves

The sky is filled with happy things.
Every bird that I know tunes up and sings.
But somewhere up there, a butterfly grieves.
Gossamer wings don't fit into sleeves.

I thought maybe he grieved because he can't sing ;) But what a happy little poem, I was so enjoying the beauty of the morning today. The birds really seemed very chirpy. I want to plant my flower garden so much, I do miss the butterflies

Thanks, Bj! Haha, that would make more sense. These rhyming words sometimes back me in a corner. My neighbors and I have milkweeds growing and pretty much can't open my door without seeing a monarch butterfly. It's great! I'm going open my blinds and windows and take a walk right now!
