is clear of dark clouds I take sail.

Ice Queen Goethe
Sunlight streams through
the tiny hole in the wall that holds
my heart together;
a crystalline point is trickling
slow droplets of
ice water the shape of tears.
Slowly melting, I am pouring myself into
my own empty cup....

Life, And Trekking Across Wild Wilderness

As epic pain ebbs then subsides

Nature's steals the mountainous scene
With beauty's encompassing slides

Home, farm life, peacock yardbird preens.

Germany
GERMANY

From Black Forest’s leafy velvet
Breathing fresh air over the land;
From the fertile earth of the sheltered Rhine,
Or where Goethe and Handel wrote their elegies;
From geest and damp marshes
Teeming rich with sea birds :
From this ground rises a misty eulogy,
A breathy chorus of myriad murders....

Dream :: the Goethe Stanza

Are dreams made of wishful thinking; what we want to happen in life when not fulfilled hearts start breaking; We blame fates always full of strife. Unfulfilled wishes continue; We dream them, though very next day we just forget, what we've been through; Why we dream, can anyone say? ~X~X~X~

Where Spirits Feed (Wreathed Goethe Stanza)
O dark angel bring forth the light

in delight let me see your face
your face of shadows from the night

this night of fury and disgrace.

Graceful lady hear my plea

in pleasing chants and mystic charms
a charmed voice of humility

your humble child in stillness calms.

Calm my seething breath with your love

your loving touch  and holy rede
the rede I see in stars above

above the clouds where spirits feed....

Instead of Kisses
Shattered pieces of the heart

Lie scattered at the end of love
Forever is over and now we part

Memories and tears are all that is left of

The days we shared as ecstasy smiled

When passion was yours and mine
Loving too fast and intensely wild

But the end came to our lover’s shrine

Bitter words instead of kisses

We lost the pleasure in a tender touch
And the memories of time reminisces

On loving too hard and hurting too much
