I meant to call you,
But I am so forgetful.
Friendship is fragile.
Gardens that are neglected
Dry out in the summer sun.
I hang around town
With my fly open
And my underwear
Pulled out
Just forgetful
Setting a trend
Or just
Cooling off the goods
She was never on time
bought her a watch
she loses things too

Weird, crazy, sane,
Big, beautiful, thoughtful,
Forgetful, bright, silly,
All these words describe one thing,
Do you know what that is?
ME!
Form:
Recycled souls have
Many chances; many lives
The wheel of life turns
Education takes some time;
Humans are quite forgetful.
he lived in a group home in Corning
he went to a room without warning
“You’re in the wrong bed!”
“Don’t worry,” he said,
“I won’t remember in the morning.”
As you run out of the house
You realize something is wrong
You try to think of it
As you go to work
You think hard
Then you remember it's
You wife's birthday
Form:
Without paper and pen
Thoughts through my head
Like raindrops falling
Never to be seen again

Winking sun through downpour trails
Earth foraging lives
Blackened standards show respect
In our sullen retreat
memories start to fade
The forgotten scar the forgetful
3rd Poem
This is for you
Dear human being
Cos we don't like
One another not one bit
Read and enjoy
You forgetful cad.

FORGETFUL
Have you got to the top of the stair?
And wondered why you went up there
Come back down again
And you're searching your brain
Then you find what you want on the chair
THE AIR BENEATH
passed the step-stool.
climbed high chair —
the air beneath
almost cheated me.
forgetful I am —
a causal effect
of midlife blindness.

It was inexcusable,
Mean,
Terrible,
Despicable,
Horrible
Inevitable,
Inescapable,
The worst I had ever seen
What was it?
I stood and stared at her.
Wishing I could remember.
Like A Forgetful Fool
Politicians are like a forgetful fool;
Flying off handle having loose tool;
Hard to digest;
Interest in divest;
Also, are impatient and can be cruel.
Jim Horn
Forgetful when it comes to my pocket jeans,
especially when its time to get cleaned,
chewing gum and phone,
after the wash I moan,
at times even laundering the green.

somewhere out there,
someone has written a brief message
in permanent ink
on their
right hand,
reminding themselves not to wash their
left hand,
because they need to remember what they wrote
there.

There is once a boy who went to farm to cult bush
Without cutlass on his hand,he has
Reached the farm before
He remembered
He was forced to used his mouth to pluck the bush
A few more screws loose, some buttons missing
forgetful more often than not
Some days better, most days worse
just part of the prep for casket and hearse
collanades
of clouds
black
broken
reeds,
exhausted
wells,
empty
cisterns,
forbidden
fearful
failed
forgetful
undone-
unheard-
infrequent
inviolable
reminescent-
now
departed
CASTRATED
In ebony
air on flight
through night
nothing is
big or too
far off
figuratively
speaking streams
forgetful surf
high pitch screams
sandpits churn
tough turf
a wastage
of
egg rock
inert

I’m the next great thing
I’m the good and bad
I’m a mask
I’m a monster
I’m an angel
I’m striving for the best
I’m the worst
I’m forgetful
I’m resourceful
I’m positively hopeless
I am filled with hope
I’m the improbable doing the impossible
I am who I am
Form:
Forgetful moments, hair thinning,
Memories fading, ears ringing,
Hands wrinkled, boobs drooping,
Knees weak, words looping,
Silver top, hot flushing,
Bladder weakness, loo rushing,
Bones tired, sleeping less,
Couldn’t care, such a mess,
Eyes blurring, tummy tucks,
Getting older, really sucks.
softly stirring their beds,
the gentle snore of calm.
the diffuser soothes the senses -
a grandma’s blend of lemon,
eucalyptus, peppermint, basil,
tea tree and rosemary.
allowing winsome dreams to croon
after the forgetful fit of coughing

Happy Birthday To Me
I'm Old As Can Be
I Am Forgetful
And Lost My Memory
I Need Glasses To See
My Eyesight Will Flee
My Ears Constantly
Need Help To Hear Thee
To Bed I Will Be
My Dreams Are Set Free
I Soon Will Be Snoring
A Whole Lot Of ZZZZZZ's
