slanting hue
sink every desire due ~

Your eyes stare at me
Wild beast beautiful and proud
Who so freely roamed
Regal Sumatran Tiger
God creates then man destroys
Do you love me? I can't tell
Threw me in a wishing well
"Wish you'd pull me out" I said
"Sure, I'll do that, when you're dead."
As I sit here, melancholy
Surrounded by filth, full of folly
I did this to myself, why complain?
And then I stuff my face again.
The part you transform
is that part you possess
The rest is pure folly
—petals scattered to the wind
(Dreamsleep: April, 2022)
I can no longer afford
what my folly has purchased
Return not an option
—my bank account dry
(Dreamsleep: December, 2020)
Particles in the void,
memories in the stream
Lovers in the mist
—time caught inbetween
(Rosemont Pennsylvania: January, 2020)
i filled my me with lit-ra-ture
epic songs and pretty words
the most important thing i learned
was all the thoughts i'd never heard
-Folly in Grin-
Sleeping troubadour
Ask his ink why he slumber
Or his papyrus
Words they themselves would forget
Since their lord is indisposed
A man, more patrician than not,
Of folly, he had quite a lot.
Stentorian voice,
But words of poor choice,
A sot, not a yacht, had he bought.
Epigram #118:
PARADOX
Wit and jolly are but mates
Pun and folly guard the gate

Unhinged like the minge
Wanting to be caressed not distressed
Images surrounding me , this is not play this is not go.
Pure folly as games go .
How ironic is my sad story
After enabling their glory
Finding my errors and folly
Is what they now seek in fury
Zenith this is in daggers gory
From the well of wisdom drink deep
For soon comes the time to reap
From the sea of folly, merely sip
Or you may reap the title: ‘Full of it!’

I just read a poem from Holly
It didn't seem Really quite jolly
But as sociopaths go
She seems in the know
To judge her, I think would be folly
the mountain mother
cries over her son's folly
opaque cataract
Repeat of the four-year refrain
Pits demented versus insane
We who are pundits
Say please call it quits
And would toast their obits with champagne
Frank was an immaculate fellow.
His favourite colour was yellow.
He got caught in the rain
When catching a train
He had forgotten his yella umbrella
best leader deserved
carries folly in his wallet
rides on wings of storms
loads paint and brush and
razor blade to cut ropes
wherever he is a guest
The stars,
They listen to the melancholy,
The shining of the wise does not meander to the folly of the ignorant!

Today I feel quite good and jolly
I met a woman, her name’s Molly
I asked her out
But got a shout
She’s a man, that was a small folly

A girl from the Folies Bergere
Manoeuvred her feathers with care.
One night, to a gasp,
They slipped from her grasp
And there she stood totally bare
