Robbery Slap
With your huge and dark, palm of robbery
You came very early, in the morning to wake
My millionaire caring dad, from his comfort bed
With a full-fledged force, you slapped his face...

Tree Swallow
inspired by “Farewell,” a digital image by Sara G. Umemoto

I fledged you from my open hand –
feathers becoming wings
outspreading. How
do you teach yourself to fly?

I feel your breath and pulse against
my palm. How could I
hold you? You
disappear into sheer blue sky....

Singing so sweetly the lark spread its’ tune
Amidst the foggy morning it’s lover did swoon
Natures’ dance of remarkable love
Took place before me in the skies above
Two little chirps a skip right a jump left
Full fledged flip whistles puffed out chest
And I in my chair in awe of this show
Smiling widely so pleased and aglow....

The Arrow
The arrow pierces

          his
     heart
ruthlessly with the
full-fledged hatred
of the sender;
          the
unsuspecting
innocent victim was
hit by the arrowhead
in the head
     and almost
instantly he fell
with a thud and
became dead—
cold-blooded murder.

       Why!?...

Puzzled
Building your space,
you were dying daily
invading the acoustics.

How the continence
was going to help-
living with scars of explosions ?

Mutating into a full-fledged
saintliners, an inner conflict
becomes a profile.

Crawling to a stone
a crayon draws a cell
without incendiary rhetoric ?

Decoding an icon
becomes a daily ritual. From
where will come the write ?

How Bright the Dew
...each a reflection of a world remade
laid by a river's flight.

Time's is a swimmer on this water road.
By a rickety dock herons fish for rainbows
riding on silvery trout.

Here on a meadow bank
dewy droplets
bracelet wet stems.
An iridescence
beads a newborn morn

My dog sniffs the prismatic air,
the fresh fledged green;
sweeps her bushy tail
scattering
a sparkling fringe of sky....

Premium Member How Do I Find a Girl
How do I find a girl? He asked me.
He is alone on Valentine's Day.
He is fifty-six years old.

Maybe you are turning them away
By calling them Girls I told him.

Develop yourself to the best of your ability.
Play a guitar, sing, dance, paint, skate.

But get ready for a full fledged woman
Because you deserve one of them, not a girl.

Do things that are so much fun that she will find you....

Escape
I'm afraid of the dark
Don't shut me in
I'm scared and alone
Deep within
You said I could trust you
But all I got was betrayal
This pain is making my heart fail
I don't want you to go
But I don't want you to stay
All I want is to fly away
Fly to a place where there is light
I need to get out and escape this fight
Take me on a cloud make of fleece
Where I can finally rest in full fledged peace...

Iron and Wool
Mill boy, meets pit girl.
Wool and Iron.
Protection and strength.
Complementing.
Opposites attracting.
The magnetic core pull,
unbreakable.
The outer, nourishing, nurturing.
The perfect balance.
A symmetry.
Loved and loving.
Life shared, family, forever friends,
Vows, distant, but stronger.
Sons, raised, fledged and flying
Dreams realised.
New lives, new dreams.
Hope undimmed.
Love eternal.
Forever us....

Barreling
The limbs had the raw strength.
They were learning
to walk on the water.

The silver axe
will hack off the neck
after the daunting recovery.

In gestational surrogacy,
you don’t want
the incisors.

To kill a wanderer,
you need a howling-
wind, fledged.

A shoebox contains
the handprints of a skeleton
and liquid eyes.

The hunger has a blue
desire. A savage bite
will bring out the space.

Premium Member Tribute To Harry Horsman
The old oak tree.
So happy I wrote: Lovely!
“Let us hear the bluebell call,
the daffodil pray,
the apple blossom bear witness.”
I hip hip hurrah’d this paradigmatic poem.
I read it a few minutes ago and thought aww…
how do I comment now, so Harry will see.
So glad I had read this in the past,
before our dear Harry passed. Suddenly,
I hear one solitary and full-fledged chirp outside.
Has Harry stopped by?
Dabbing an eye....

First Light
how bright the dew
in the sunlight
each drop
a picture of a world remade

down by the dock herons watch
rainbows riding over silver fish

time shows-up as a water road
journeying to just here

this place where dawn dew
mirrors a million first lights
gleaming out
of a million suns

my dog sniffs at the prismatic air
the light
the new fledged green

she sweeps her furry tail
back and forth
scattering a bespangled sky
behind her...

The Hunt
Panicked tiny footprints, zigzag, sharp;
Each an arrow hungry for direction.
Across them, newer, the fully-fledged
Outlines of boots, strong, deep.

Ahead, the bootprints side by side,
Suddenly, decisively: imagine the arms.
Further on still, the arrows stagger,
Stop, and fading blood reds the way.

This is the tale the snow tells,
Along the ugly, thorn-jagged hedge.
Its record is brief, the warmer winds
Of oblivion will sweep in, soon, too soon....

Succubus
There she was
Everything,
Everything I needed
Everything I wanted
Beautiful in her every imperfection
A single flaw non existent

Happiness overcame me
Sadness withdrew
That was until
I learned the truth

Sadness made a full fledged assault
Mind unsound
Body fatigued
Life began to leave

It was too late
Under her spell I had fallen
And even knowing made little difference
I was surely to deteriorate from the inside out
Insanity is onset

Powerless I write
Hear me...
