The Thing About Crazy Lover

Do not live me,
Let me die,
Or let me become yours.

Look, do not think
I love to say love,
Or do not deny me
And die,Let me stay.

Ool

I went to a pool
it was pretty cool
but then I was tired at school
my teachers think I'm a fool
good food makes me drool
my shirt is made out of wool

Gifts OCD

Gifts…OCD

Every time around Hanuka
I’m tagged with the same old moniker
Do I get the eight gifts
Or let her get miffed
With just one giant gift to astonish her?

Premium Member Happy Hanukkah

O joyous Happy Hanukkah to my
wonderful Jewish friends,
love and friendship never ends.
Light the menorah, gather round,
the presence of God and His angels-
a beauteous sound!

Premium Member Ouch

Ten-year-old David for Chanukah yearned
Bought a menorah with money he'd earned
   His cheap candles he lit
But in half they did split
David learned ~ Buy quality or get burned

Premium Member Hypocrisy doesn't get any uglier than this

        We are not anti-Jewish
          We're only 'anti-Israel,' you see

So, your Jewish Chanukah celebration is canceled
~ it implies we support the Israelis

Bunny Day

Christmas is now the Holidays.
But Hanukkah is still Hanukkah
and Ramadan is still Ramadan.

Easter still has its name.
The media needs more time
to make the change.

Premium Member A Chanukah Tale

I met a young Jew
  it's sad to say
Who wasn't taught
  Why or how to pray

I choked back a tear
as I lit festive candles dear
'Gaze into the flames, son
  Their warmth brings God near'

Santa Claus sure is fine, and he’s dandy
On Chanukah he gives out the candy

He wants to light the lights
         But instead starts a fight

In Mayberry that job falls to Andy

Question

Lord, Why does Satan determine
Who is admitted to this country
Who live in different neighborhoods
Who goes to college
Who is rich or poor
Who our leaders will be
Who will live or die
Why

I am the One who determines

Premium Member Foot Locker

how long
is a foot locker
and what
do they keep in it?

foot lockers
foot solders
foot long hotdogs
footballs
what is the obsession
are they politically correct
or are they just a foot fetishes
at the foot of my bed

Premium Member The Old Holiday Spirit

Eight days and nights of Chanukah
is a little much for me
I've gotten to that 'golden age'
where it's really hard to be

Happy, happy, happy
  morning, noon and night
I'd just like to go to sleep
  once I light the lights

Oh My Divinity

Oh my divinity, shalt thou absolve me?
For I bruised and gashed she
For I deceived and deposed she
For I breached and abondoned she
For I let she go and escaped .
Oh my almighty, canst thou be venial?

Premium Member Brotherhood On Bondi Beach

On Bondi Beach a Chanukah celebration,
lights, fellowship, and joy.
Til two gunmen shot and killed over
a dozen people.
But a brave Muslim man who was
shot twice,
disarmed a shooter to prevent
more deaths.
Brotherhood shone on Bondi Beach. ~

The Worst Go Last

A life short-lived, but a life lived regardless
A cavalcade of those once loved marching backwards
Black light glinting through the eyes of the ephemeral
A shining, black casket filled not with despair, but hope.
An ephemeral hope, but hope nonetheless.
