Could'nt agree on what wasn't said.
The girls figured it out.
The boy's, they would just shout.
And now no one knows, now that they're dead.
I jotted the number down with a pen
called and set the date of time and when
two men and a truck
finally showed up
outside my door stood two stick figured men

Told my girlfriend ‘I’m halfway there’
She figured I was thirty-five…
After she’d done up and married me
I told her I’ve one foot in the grave
~ yet still alive
Now that I hit the floor.
Finish me off.
I'm broken inside and out.
I'm useless and all un figured out.
No use for me know.

If each trip to the washroom cost us a dime
Averaging five trips a day
Living to eighty lets say
That's fourteen hundred bucks, way too much wine
I wish I had an ocean
To fill with all the times
I thought I had it figured out
But I've filled that ocean
So many times
And the waves
Keep coming back to you
One day
I'll catch those waves
