Undefined
From the realms of my heart
And my soul
Hard to separate
What I want
And all I know

The circular motion
Figments of my imagination
Knowing there’s nothing worse
Than a cryptic charade
That seems like
The perfect escapade

It may be colourful and wild;
Over fantasized
But still remaining;
Undefined...

Looking Into the Past
Looking into the past
Growing a garden that won’t last
Watering your garden with your tears
That you have bled while you were there
Forgive all the characters of your play
They are figments of your imagination anyway
Please don’t go back there again today
Your garden here is withering away
We have been praying
That you would come and stay
And live with us here in today...

I know I'm 41 now,
But the kid just trying to be silly,
Make people laugh,
Make them lose themselves,
Find themselves,
That kid is still manning the controls.
He gets nudged, knocked, wrangled at times
But we all know, all those outboarded
Shadowy figments know, he's the only one
Who can make a spark in the reaching darkness.
In fact he renames the darkness and calls it a blessing....

They are not UFOs you know
Those strange lights up in the sky
Blinking in from another dimension
Not from figments of imagination

Those strange lights up in the sky
They might be sent to terrorize
Not from figments of imagination
Intrusions of a dark unknown

They might be sent to terrorize
Blinking in from another dimension
Intrusions of a dark unknown
They are not UFOs you know...

Listen to poem:
the frailty of human nature
to wonder where this all can lead

truth best captured in the present
no place more perfect than its now

riding the coattails of fantasy
candied kisses in clear mint sky

longing in conjured dreamy state
ethereal in its summoned whimsy

scattered figments of imagination
there then gone they never happened

Ravenous
Swirling scuffling newspapers
Scrawling in civilized dirt
Alleyways devouring
Discarded stories of hurt
Sunken sorrel skin
Writhing in distended shame
Ingested figments of food
Decomposing depravity’s name
Corroded cans of compassion
Littering hunger pains
Kicked into comatose corners
Prodded by public domain
Flaccid fingers of despair
Folded to somehow convey
God if you can hear me
I haven’t eaten in ten days...

Depression Is a Spirit Troll
The worst part is waking up
With wispy, fleeting, figments of anxious dream
Looking at the clock and realizing
It doesn’t matter what time it is anymore
Then there’s the coffee
It tastes so good, but no longer has allure
Then mindless counsel with my laptop
To free my mind and replace the sad fog
That doesn’t leave, but dances, taunting
Into deep dark corners
Where it can continue throughout the day
To bug even the simple code...

Thinking
I think of all of the plans that we had made
Think of how once, I had it made
I should have seen the buzzards soaring
Waiting for it all to die
Waiting to destroy my soul once I stopped feeling alive
Blinded by my youth
Praying they were figments of my imagination
Hoping it was just a needless gut-wrenching feeling
It all came crashing down on that fateful summer’s eve
When special ties were severed
When I was essentially told to leave...

what
truly
does exist?
is there any proof?

do we hope to discover,
anything beyond what we think we can see?
in the end we are figments of imagination

without imagination this entire world will fall to pieces!
none of us will ever know because we never really were here, or were we?

Believe It
Believe It

 I'm a bit misguided
 I sometimes neglect my appearance
 My brain has been through
 blunt force trauma
I speak the language of regret
 I overdose on my emotions
 I use sarcasm because it
 keeps me interested
I have a mild death wish
 My enemies are usually
 figments of my imagination
 An aura of disaster occasionally
 follows me around
What does not confuse me is desire
So keep your heart within reach
Because I'm coming for you like the PLAGUE...
