Imaginary Universe

what
truly
does exist?
is there any proof?

do we hope to discover,
anything beyond what we think we can see?
in the end we are figments of imagination

without imagination this entire world will fall to pieces!
none of us will ever know because we never really were here, or were we?

I liked the added touch of prime numbers to this. They bring a sense of logic to all the chaos and yet at the same time there is no known formula yet discovered that can accurately predict when a prime number will occur. I do believe without imagination reality would be quite dull and mechanical (a place I don't want to live in)... intriguing work!

Congratulations! Using increasing prime numbers certainly did make for a challenge, but I think you'd agree that it adds an extra dimension to the flow of the poem.

Thanks Debbie, I hope you lend your talent to my contest. After all you played a huge roll in me learning the terzanelle. I have really enjoyed writing in that form.

wow this reminds me of the movie 'Matrix' or another great movie 'Inception' i love all the questions this poem raises ..........about what is real or how real something is or maybe without the human senses and mind...we can feel be emoted and see so much more beauty that we would otherwise......ok...now im thinking too much philosophy.......but i like it LOL - Shaz
