Soul Search - Earth
Today, I seek the earth
created solid, oh so sure
each grain linked to birth,
to death, to my clay feet
ferrying everywhere
life's sublime design.

Pearl-Prayer

When harlequin herbs bask in jeweled forests, do you hear me?
ferrying upon pearl-prayers, seeking warmth in doe's walnut eyes,
I'm the last of seven souls ~ before heaven's hyacinth gates.

Seagulls serenade the salty air, as serene clusters of dreams~ weave poetry with palm leaves. There, waves whisper exotic love, ferrying memories of an island.

Anchors
To succumb to one's own pride,
Or to the ferrying tides?
To hold on, you must decide,
That this journey's worth the ride.

Often times I see these boats
Stuck on sandbars, sometimes moats,
They can hardly stay afloat,
Yet somehow, onward they go....

Premium Member seas of kindness

If my heart must break, let it bleed seas of kindness, ferrying forgiveness to rinse away pain, etched across stained shores, as I care for slowing pulses, searching for lyrical light…. and If lucky stars do wane, I’ll rhyme, be the healing hymn~ for sailing silhouettes still aching for serenity.

Salt Spring Island
Hot summer day
Beautiful time to visit the island
Ferry to Schwartz Bay
Then to Salt Spring
BC Transit takes you downtown to Ganges
Nice little village
Had coffee at Salt Spring Coffee Bean Cafe

Then bus to Long Harbour
Ferrying back to Tswassen
Via Maynard, Pender, Galiano islands

Another summer day
To reminisce another
Warm dry day

Before the winter winds and rain
Start again....

Love Hurts
It's not the void of your absence,
rather you are too full into my heart.
I'm trying to defy your silent presence,
but it's really hard to stay apart.
My pen is paining,
so as my heart.
I'm learning each day from you to be unknown,
but my heart is denying being completely apart.
Oh, you heartless, go far or be mine forever.
Your ferrying is hurting me more.
Will I be free from this ache, ever?...

Premium Member I kissed the Moon
I kissed the moon tonight, enveloped with quartz amulets of Luna as luminous streams of stars paint my poetic sky glazed in citrine dust tracing rain dews in your eyes to cleanse these scars I hide within teal rivers, swiftly ferrying lanterns whilst wishing upon the Milky Way that your cosmic rhymes would save my aching soul from drowning , so take my heart, engrave love

Elegant Emerald
Elegant Emerald

It’s a people’s paradise
A rehab retreat
An elegant “Emerald”
Green carpet
At our feet

Trojan Swans
Cross the pond
Ferrying Families, Nostalgian’s
And Photographers
Strong

It’s all mine
And yours
Ours…

I think I love that most…
The sharing
With sharing comes caring
With caring…
Love

I see that all here…
I do
I love Boston
I love Boston Public Garden
I love you…

I Looked Out At the Rain
It rained today,
Dark pellets of the heaven's tears
Soaking up the sounds of the earth
Changing them

The trees were felled
Big and old, bent to the will of the water
The cracked sounds of expendability
Following them

Floods wiped away all evidence of activity
Leaving the earth shifted and soaked
Feet ferrying bodies to shelter
Shielding them

It made me sad
This washing away of things I know
The clouds grey as though with sorrow
Hurting them...

Premium Member Sapphire Souvenirs
As
I watch
the waves crash
and unfold gems
in neon blue dust
across ivory shores
silky reflections scatter
upon moon glazed tides in cadence
and flaming twin stars whirl in circles
sprinkling magic upon Poseidon’s realm
There's a turquoise song for the healing hearts
ruffling as lyrical melodies
along idyllic crests of hope
where memories float in a
bottle of souvenirs
ferrying sapphire
swells of daydreams
that ebb in
tune to
faith...

Sleepy Beauty
Dear wife,

Laying down, silent lucidity slips into REM....

No more thoughts of the day,
No more talk for tonight,
I sit looking at you drift off to the sea of dreams and floating clouds ferrying you to the dream-light express.

Your porcelain skin,
Your pillow shaped lips,
Everything feels right...
looking at you sleep,
my dear wife,

I gently kiss your check,
and wish you a good night sleep.

I feel me board my ferry to my cloud to meet you in our dream....
