Dearest Inky! This is a rapturous song of summer - a "serene," "serenade" of "salty air" and the sound of "palm leaves." While I didn't get to swim to a beautiful island, my family had a summer house on an island where I would swim to a raft, look for seashells and pick blackberries with my grandmother! Whatever you write on sea and island sound exotic. Being born in Maldives, you breathe the salubrious salty air and in love with the swaying palm fronds, the gliding seagulls and the cast out seashells. A lovely five liner dear Empress. Into my FAVE.

Lovely imagery! I did live near the coast when I was growing up. In the desert for the past 30 years, though beautiful in its own right, I miss the sea often. Blessings my friend.
