Premium Member A Man with Propellorized Hat
A man with propellorized hat
Stepped up with his beanie to bat.
The fastball blew by,
Away he did fly,
He hadn’t accounted for that.

Premium Member My Heart Takes Off
I've never read a baseball sonnet
Nor thrown a curve with mustard on it

Yet when the umpire shouts 'Play Ball'
My heart takes off like a rising fastball...

Dan was just asking for it. If I could give it a go. I often dreamed of such vindictive attacks. A pie with the speed of a fastball by Sandy Koufax. I would just take the pie and throw it in his face. That would have been something to put Dan in his place.
