The Quit
Nicotine drips from his flesh,
Brawn tainted by addiction cries
Emotions enmesh—
Nicotine drips from his flesh,
With tobacco laden breath
The crinkle of burning paper dies
Nicotine drips from his flesh—
Tissue, tainted by addiction cries...

A Pet Minichu

Memories stay afresh
Blackie lying down with her head between her paws
Eyes enmesh

Robust and dear
Her short life deserves an applause
No fear

What might!
Gentle, she was
Bright!

Memories stay afresh
Her short life deserves an applause
Bright!

Oh those muddled webs some weave

When folks get more than we perceive

While truth hoards dust upon the shelves

The gears enmesh to grease themselves

Such myst'ries are left to dear Bo Peep

How some 'round here e'er get to sleep....

Jealousy eats at me, masticating my miserable flesh,

each time I see your opulent smile it takes yet another bite,
chewing slowly savoring and seeking my heart to enmesh

. . .as visceral emotions move slow through molasses midnight.

Dry Spell
Dry spell

On a summer day
the wind become standstill,
my memories enmesh
in the heap of dry leaves,
faces close enough
to feel the warmth,
silence fall back-
the tiny bird disappears.

the hand reaches out
after a brief pause,
the soft touches never
travel along the trodden track,
blazing tall trees
wisely leaving
the rain drop behind,
to taunt the tearful eyes....

Some people never change
They just get worse with age
Rude, obnoxious and shrew
Mean words are always spewed

Landing like daggers in your flesh
Leaving many cuts that enmesh
Often feels so hurtful and surreal
Being around them is not ideal

Avoiding them can be adverse
They may haunt you like a curse
Ironically life would not be the same
If they were able to stop and refrain...

Limericks croises : Once a Boxer met Poodle on leash

Once Monsieur walked Poodle in broad street
Madame laid up after nightlong feat
Poodle tripped in full glee
In Paris rue carefree
Monsieur took note of neighbours who cheat

Saw Mademoiselle walk Boxer on leash
Boxer lick-jumped Poodle with relish
Monsieur’s leash entangled
Mademoiselle’s hose bungled
Rush hour traffic stopped to let dogs enmesh/unleash.

Yesterday's Memories
. for public domain

Simple light games of Solitaire,
with Heifetz on Bach from Echo,
sweet and joyful notes arranged
in patterns of sound so pleasing;

Simple striking rays of day's new dawn,
my arms outstretched in open yawn,
fresh dew's sweetly scented morning air,
the window sun upon her hair;

Simple days again reset and fresh,
bathroom burps with chirps enmesh.
Would more days could begin this way,
soft memories of yesterday....

we observe thought forms rising conjuring hypnotic illusions seeking to enmesh our attention that they may increase their life span feeding off our pranic life force compelling us to believe that we are the doer so creating these dreams manifest as desires fleeting rooted in attachment to body which though an instrument would have us deluded that we are not spirit vibrant and eternal how amusing 16-July-2021

COPLA 84 INVOCATION : This Bad Guy World

Unchecked Bad Guys will romp rampage
And turn World into warring ground :
Good Guys resist

At the height of summer advantage
Good Guys rein in secede no ground :
Soon comes the mist

Bad Guys bait entice fascinate
Give them the long swinging tight rope
To strangle in knots

Let not thoughts enmesh imbricate
In life and death struggles sans hope :
Bide time Yin rots

Dread thoughts race,
feelings enmesh.
Vacant eyes,
grim glacial flesh.

Silvern tears
mark me forlorn.
World shattered

Fear stalks us, so we pause, since we cannot outrun lower mind. The cause of contraction we trace to mind’s ignorance, which believes it is feeble form, false concept encouraged by ego, to enmesh our attention in darkness. If we are not this body, who are we, is the question we need to answer, discovered in the vibrant void of pure silence we embrace, simply by resting thought; then winds of bliss blow, through every pore, that’s a door, of God’s love.
