Upon the Morn'

Dread thoughts race,
feelings enmesh.
Vacant eyes,
grim glacial flesh.

Silvern tears
mark me forlorn.
World shattered
upon the morn'.

This is very cool. I really like the SOUND of that one line: grim glacial flesh!! A very effective poem for setting a forlorn mood.

Thanks, Andrea. It *is* meant to be a very depressing poem, so pleased that came through. Kind regards, John.
