Flavor of Desire

Speaking honeyed endearments
Of sweetest potions
Mixed with enamored innocence
As thy lips dripped bare
My delicious desire

Old Voices

Old voices echoed
Stubbornly until they drowned
Soft remonstrations
Old worn useless endearments
Rising waters held silence

- Night Endearments -

"True I lust for thine alluring body," Her I apprised,

"But swear so adore thy soul."

"And to thee I succumb," promptly she replied,

"Offer my heart, my mind and all."

Premium Member Do Not Dash

Love doesn't dash, it loiters -
with repeated movements like music
and beautifully crude endearments.

Love does't dash, it lingers
with rhythms like dance
and boastfully rude aphorisms.

So dally my love - lollygag,
lounge and we'll share breaths
and mess about.

So dally with me my love
lollygag, lounge and in a while

Premium Member Enduring Love

Love's garment woven with endearments
Ovations shared in heart harmony
Vows—the genesis of love's endeavor
Enduring love cultivated with kindness

So Glad I Was Home

Love came to call...
I let her in, and she sang while she lingered.
She made me smile with her promises to
Deliver happy tomorrows and tickled my
Senses with soft whispered endearments,
Raising my sleeping spirit.
The room filled with my laughter and before
I knew it, I looked forward to tomorrow,
Love's promises fulfilled!

Over Time

Understandably,
we were worn out with love,
romantic movies gave you hives,
love poetry often made me gag.

We had this thing going on,

love and hate had mingled,
ennui and elan had given birth
to a redeemed vision
of that far too simple word.

When we kiss now,
that lip-to-lip caress
has exponentially evolved,
into a whole lexicon
of newfound endearments.

Premium Member Gentle Touch

Your gentle touch by work roughened hands
caresses my body softer then the finest silk
Endearments whispered in the darkness
are more precious to me than song
Eyes that express your truth
are held more dear than a poem
Your kiss that claims my heart
binds me tighter than chains
The feel of strong arms around me
imparts a strength unsurpassed
Two souls mated as ours
lasts longer than time

Premium Member Pumpkin Blossoms and Blowers

Rubenesque pumpkin blossoms and blowers
Come in the night to entice the best growers
Playing music the future jack-o-lanterns here.
Calling each other endearments like Pookie and Dear.

The jacks sit on their vines, and grow the best they can.
They want to please Doris, Denise and Dibbly Dan.
Pumpkin blossoms and blowers are found to be super sealed.
The last one I saw was playing a flute in an Iowa field.

Two Souls Know

Sun shone cheerily when we greeted our new life.
Merriments, not memories lifted lifelong strife.
Immense endearments, as your wife, I bestow.
Like lavender lilacs laced in loves’ golden glow.
Every kindheartedness liberated pains flow.
Smiles replaced sorrow; together, souls know.

Borrowed Words of a Denizen Soul
David J Walker

I admit to the
Plagiarism of the language
I am still learning to use
Day by day by day

So often the meanings mangled
So often the thoughts tangled
In the confusion of emotions
Seeking the freedom of expression
From the lips of a denizen soul

At best I am a borrower
At worst, I am a thief
Investment in terms of endearments
Divested in unintended grief

Far Side of Moonbeams

I adore you on the far side

of tranquil moonbeams &

admiration's transcendence,

'tween hard knocks & wonder

amidst breath's appreciation,

misfortunes' adversity naught to

e'er lessen breadth of affection,

dimensions beyond unfathomable

depths of reverent inclinations,

tenderness surpassing worldly feats

within endearments' heartprint,

there could be no greater love than

a grateful mother for her child

Healing Oneness of Two

“Healing Oneness of Two”

A Symphony of blue
As far as the eye could see
Where water and sky merged
Like two bodies in sacred union
Two hearts destined
In the Lustrous ever engaging face of love
A small word
With giant effect on life
Healing a rugged and scarred heart
Erosion of adversity
Emotional devastation
Despair and hopelessness
True love’s emerald hills
Triumphant
 In the tranquil valleys
Endearments fulfilment
Of tantalizing blooms
Crowned by the setting of the sun

Clouds

Clouds can paint a picture of dragons or Uncle Noah’s boat changing as fast as times tick Up above, the blue expands where fantasy meets our spirits endearments to calm the soul inside the denseness of the cloud particles gather and unite build the walls of their house Home to storms and rainbows we gather beneath the sight in awe or oblivion’s cloud In a tug a war with suns mirth they play or quickly hide as mist or swimming in the sea
