Two Souls Know

Sun shone cheerily when we greeted our new life. Merriments, not memories lifted lifelong strife. Immense endearments, as your wife, I bestow. Like lavender lilacs laced in loves’ golden glow. Every kindheartedness liberated pains flow. Smiles replaced sorrow; together, souls know. © March 12, 2011 Dane Smith-Johnsen Form: Rhyme written as an acrostic of the word smile with alliteration interspersed.

After a very super weekend I am back at the soup reading. I enjoyed reading your poetry this morning Dane Ann. There are so many diverse writers here and I am so happy I am able to read most of them. Have a wonderful week and may you find what you are looking for in life and in your writing. Love, Carol
