Ellie
Every day I wonder,
Like a daydream all the time,
Love is always the answer,
Into this heart of mine,
Everything will be just fine....

Hark Ellie
R. Kelly did meet Lucy Furr
But - dang it all - she did not purr!
He sang, "Bum Rap"
But that was crap
Because his peers would not concur...

Poor Ellie
Poor Ellie, sweet Ellie
Her mother just cooed
Tomorrow’s a brand new day

I can’t spank you child
For just running wild
Stacy’s hair will grow back anyway...

Ellie Went To Kitchen of Planet Y
Ellie went to kitchen of Planet Y
                                  And got Flagella horrifidis dry
                                     She mixed it with flubber
                                       Made hominid rubber
But she found no silicon chip to fry

Snow and Silence - For Ellie
Shine a candle in the shadows
break the glow stick green
Conquer those New England days
You know what I mean
Tree limbs tapping at the window
frost on rivulets grey
Open up the blinds and melt them
into words you've yet to say
Soak in bubbles brought to boiling
swirled in steam and sleep
Break the silence with emotion
I am yours to keep....

Premium Member Deely
My girl Ellie came from Philly
She loves chili from the deli
Such a Silly Sally
Saw her dilly-dally
For a million hours
Smelling gillyflowers
Under hilly towers.

My pop Billy Banker
Was a willy wanker
He was really bonkers
With his deely-bobbers
He loved jelly
Marie Corelli
His cat Milly
And!
Watching telly
With a lily
On his belly....

Kelly Collided With Ellie
Kelly collided with Ellie but neither was hurt
That was the miracle of the day said stupid Bart
                                              Kelly was a truck
                                               Ellie ran amuck
She was as drunk as a skunk and didn't wear a skirt

Premium Member Have Some Birthday Cake
Have some birthday cake Ellie said to her cousin Myra.
He asked what it tasted like.
This was 1931, it was a worldwide depression.
We did not often have cake.
Especially cake with frosting.

Come here, she said.
Giving him a taste of the icing with her finger.
His brown eyes lit up as if it was a magical day.
Maybe the world was not sad after all.
They exchanged huge smiles....

Premium Member The Honey Bun That Wasn'T
I saw it, I touched it, I bought it
It looked like it, smelled like it, felt like it
But ooh! when I tasted it,
Something was missing.
Was it spice? Was it sugar?
Aahh, I got it!
The molasses, where was the molasses?
I think it's for the next batch.

Clay climbed and clobbered Clemson Clue
Doing deliberate diamond disciples daring do,
Enough Elizabethan excitement expressed Ellie Lou
Finishing fancy French frankfurters, freeing Friday’s flu.

Gigantic gyrating griffendorf’s glazing gibbon’s glue
Harboring horrific hellacious hippos’s in hindsight’s hue.
Ignoring illustrious iguana’s illustrating indigo’s favorite blue.
Jiggling jumbled jabborwock’s justified jellies and jams for a few....
