Then again, Vance became a politician --- the last refuge of scoundrels... Then again, again: I'm someone who's held his nose voting for Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and many other 'fine men.' Once you're a politician, you've agreed to compromise every value you may have held. Why, I know very religious Orthodox Jews who have walked in Gay Pride parades in Chicago and New York -- against everything they believe in. C'est la vie.
