Breath slowing
Eyelids falling
Skin warming
Muscles melting
Mind easing
Darkness closing
Thoughts drifting
Zzzzzz...
Rhythm
Steady, healthy
Racing, easing, beating
Listen – a liquid melody
Sanguine
Written for the "Song of my Heart Poetry Contest"
Blue colored pansies
planted with the yellow ones
Soft fragile petals
spread color in the garden
In vision, easing the mind

Mission raised at place of great bears.
Meat was given easing tribe's cares.
No man seen in savage tone swears.
Neophytes all.
See them lining mission stone stairs.
Nine short few tall.
Pain holds its insistence pressed against me.
I dream of a misty, selfless new morn ~
soft as maternal skin ~
easing me free with a true smile
to greet a
sweet day born!
Mild
drizzle
soaks on pane;
and hums gently
like day’s cleansing rite
easing breaths, tired:
heart lifts up
as mist
floats.

August Ninette Contest of Caren Krutsinger
Made me love the word of mind
On Moby Dick and Pinocchio time.
Tripping to a Radio City line.
Her hand at the fair I find.
Easing the stress of yet-to-be.
Resting, now, in the Earth, the sea.
===================
She rages! Child of Rain and Stone...
Stone, easing not the falls she takes,
takes leave, for she must rise alone.
Alone, he grieves until she wakes.

There once was an accountant named Laverne
Her clients' loyalty she'd always earn --
She never talked tax
She gave them Ex-lax --
Made it so 'easy' to file their return
Female
In a quiet moment, hand in hand,
You sensed my pain, you took a stand.
With delicate fingers, tracing circles light,
Comfort flowed through, easing the plight.
It's in this tender act,
You held my pain
I laid down my stone cold head
boiling with thoughts on my mother's lap.
The warmth of the lap touched my heart and soul
easing my troubled psyche.
I slept on that warmth
with great comfort like a baby
My enemies surround every element
Entirely never easing
Everywhere, each etching.
Etching at each easement
Envy etches each one.
Every Enemy!
Each enemy electrifies me.
Enemy no extra!
Each to easier existence!

Giraffe at the watering hole
She splays her forelegs one at a time
levering, leaving dignity
behind, easing down to a
half sideways split; then bends
to drink, hoping no
lion arrives
blood-blushing
head rush
up
Bending over she glides the hot iron
smoothing creases
easing folds
running
lines
pressed
over
stubborn folds
waiting their turn
to be folded neatly with two warm palms.

Lights of hope
Shining so bright
Guiding me safely
Through dark nights
Gently you start
Easing my mind
Troubles I hear
My heart is
So full of
Such great fear
I didn’t put
This fear there
Make it disappear
Lights of hope…

As the sun was setting,
A fog came easing in,
The world into a murmer went
An other day subtly spent.
The fog then stopped,
But for a moment
To form a far streached bank,
Then back again it's creeping course
Up the valley still.
wind's
caress
'pon my cheek
easing my mind
A soft tender kiss
reaching her destiny
wraps around my sated heart
singing to me a lullaby
of dreams and memories to be made
when these two lost souls, reunite, at last
Words in the valley
Flies like an agile osprey
Grasping my senses
Words became thicker
A leaf falls as trees shudder
Easing my numbness
Calls from the deep end
Caused words to scramble and bend
Devoured by darkness
Teasing my senses, awaken my soul,
Obey every command, losing control.
Unspoken words, replaced by pure bliss,
Craving you more, every daring kiss.
Hypnotized by passion, transcendence.

From the blue the intense downpours
pull off impurities of floors.
Burst into tears eases the hearts
and confronts upsets of all sorts.

Soft silence
breaks at the dawn
leaving
tangled forests
with mere memories
nocturnal
and dark
easing
into
luminance
as the dawn’s
light transforms
teasing a concerto
as
the orchestra cues
