The Dullest Star

The dullest star
the saddest sparkle in the sky;
Laughter teases what is
soft, dim, and hiding;
‘Come alive little star,
you may just light up the night.’

Darkest Night Day's Light

DARKEST NIGHT DAY'S LIGHT

darkest night day's light
daring darkest dullest night
open your day's eyes

Close Shave

The lawn awaits the mower’s blade
The blade of dullest steel is made
The smoke of petrol fumes abound
As the mower is pushed around
The grass beard trimmed of morning shade

Getting a Little Old To Be So Childish

Continuous youth-

Such a tricky button

It comes off and then on again

Seniority strikes with the dullest

Redundancy, hatching an escape plan

From current time and space

Blood of the Fallen

Humanity is destined
for being at war

Attacking tomorrow,
its fate still unsure

New conflict resharpens
the dullest of blades

Where written in blood
—new history is made

Color Me Happy Pink

If poets were a color
Would all of them be blue?
And wouldn't it be pleasanter
To write in brighter hue?
Some poets might be somber shades
And write in dullest grey.
I choose to be a happy pink
To drive the blues away.

The Greatest Thing Since Breastmilk

Post-******
pillow talk
is the dullest ecstasy
one can ever
imagine.

I do not care
about skydiving
or roller coasters
so long as I can hold
onto this instance
of humanity,
so long as this instance
of humanity
can hold
onto me.

Roses In a Vase

Roses in a vase
You have given me
Have now changed colors
From the bright redness

In a dullest red
Is a memory now
Faded roses gone
The vase is empty

No longer empty
The vase will be filled
My love brought roses
To brighten my day

Romantic Fountain Dream

romantic fountain dream

with the dullest dagger
I long to stab you over and over
until you stagger
like a nasty drunken pirate

from my knife’s artistry
your blood would shoot out
in all directions
like fruit punch
flowing from
Rome’s Trevi fountain

oh what a sweet dream
that would be for me

Nugget

I've been here for so long
trying to soften the dullest words
digging madly inside of me
in search of the prettiest nugget
but when I finally gave up
recognizing to be made of pure gravel
I heard the beautiful cracking sound
of certainties shattering
attesting that maybe
what i believed was horrible in me
could be the best thing I ever had

Gifts and Joys

I'm eloquent in words that sound poetic;
I'm creative in composing music,
which is an art form so intrinsic!
I run to the one who's sad and bleeds;
I'm very kind in generous deeds,
and to happiness my giving leads!

Poetry adorns the dullest life,
making loneliness disappear instantly;
it soothes pain, anger and strife...
while music embellishes it vividly
with its notes vibrant with harmony,
then mood determines its tonality!

Heaven and Hell

Heavens brightest light

She's the one thing to save

Hells dullest knight

Who tries so hard to be brave

He's got no armor no sword

He's left to die

He has to speak not a single word

She just knows he shall try

He will try to keep her alive

Her happiness sustains this knight

Her happiness is for what he will strive

He will go through any fight

To keep her safe and sound

For without her

He would fade into history

Moments

To savour every moment
Taken as if the last
Suck the marrow from the bone
This life is all we have

In this our chosen moment
Our lives but a flash in time
Holds our every importance
Of life within our hands

Do not take it easily
Defiantly not lying down
There is plenty of time for resting
As we drift slowly to the end

Yet in our haste for moments
To record the dullest deed
We must take time to capture
A small moment in all we see

I'Ve Lost a Lot of Pie With Biden

Ever since Biden marched in my stocks plump
My gains and nest egg make my shoulders slump
Unfortunately I've lost to that chump
My piece of American pie, a dump
What were five stars is now two dullest lump
I've endured his march of geese on my rump
Yet hope his wild goose chase comes to a stump
Until then I hope some road frees of bump
And tears chill and I get over this hump

City Lights

The city lights
who glimmer like golden
glitter scattered upon a
blanket of darkness
A golden orb which has
blessed the land with
remnants of it's existence
As if the Sun had exploded
leaving a billion shards of
gems illuminating even
the dullest of landscapes
When one's eyes
have engraved such a
beauty in their mind,
they will realize
the celestial bodies
the planets
the night sky
be the Earth's mirror
And the stars are just a
reflection of the city's lights
