old duke a seafaring dog
drifted about on a log
till in a harbor
next to an arbor
found him a seed catalog.
On Saturday night in Waikiki
The teenagers turn rather freaky
Though blue as a smurf
They all love to surf
Like a Kahanamoku tiki!
Tristesse fell in love with a Duke
The Duke thought their love was a fluke
But tonight at ten
All over again
They both fall in love with a spook!
Dodgers in five. Yankee fans weep.
Four times Freddie Freeman went deep.
We hope to see you here
again, this time next year.
Duke and Mickey go back to sleep.
I have two dogs named Duke and Buddy
they love to get dirty and muddy,
they go in the lake,
they come out and they shake,
Now they look more like silly putty.

Once there was a lady by name Glory,
the daughter of a duke, John Gregory.
Stylishness! Admirable! Grace!
Precision! Behavior! Appearance!
Bloody not. Woman of a “Big Family”.
A cab was called to the wrong address
After pulling up he then got stressed
The place was haunted with spooks
He realized he'd been duke
He sped off not knowing he'd been test

When Duke arrives,
don't be around...
No cat survives,
when Duke arrives.
Need all nine lives?
Don't make a sound!
When Duke arrives -
don't be around.

Before Duke shakes a leg, he sniffs around
Some doggies chase squirrels like Harry the hound
Sparky crying mutt
Says he’ll bust his gut
Begs for more pee-trees in the park playground
Limerick : Once a Viscountess in a mess
Once a Viscountess in a mess
Tried in vain to extricate dress
With Dwarf in the middle
And Duke in the fiddle
So she swung from swing to undress.

John Wayne
Was a handsome swain.
Westerns were his specialty.
On a horse with a gun he'd be.
Today I’m thankful for swings
for those feelings of freedom and flying that it brings…
I think Duke Ellington understood
the wonders that they bring…
when he sang…
Life don’t mean a thing…
if it ain’t got that swing
Convicted witch
Who cursed the rich
Will strangle in
A rope-choked grin.
The gallows creaks!
Before two weeks
The duke she named
Collapses, lamed.
His crops decay,
His hair grows grey,
And two weeks more
His lips froth gore.

Limerick: Once a Baron born near Basingstoke
Once a Baron born near Basingstoke
Dreaded being made (the) butt of a joke
Yet he built his castle
Shaped as a sharp whistle
Winds coursed through laughing like Marma-Duke.

Hulking African-American character-actor, Bill Duke.
Hollywood's most recognizable "Who's that dude?"
The ultimate king of cool, quiet menace on screen.
In real life, however, he's anything but mean.
A gentleman known as, "The Fluke"
Is notorious for his puke
He can't hold his beer
But he loves to cheer
So the King just made him a Duke!
n.b. Hurry! Hurry! Hurry!
The window for the
New Year Honours List
is closing fast!
Limerick : Once a Grand Duke in Londonderry
Once a Grand Duke in Londonderry
Thought he could run his own Grand Duchy
So he slammed door on Queen
Gave full vent to his spleen
Now he’s left with trillion debt treasury.

Truely, my canines, are so great,
mine put me in a paniced state,
training them can be quite hard,
discipline, you can't disregard,
my two, rotty and rodesian,
to the eye, very pleasing,
demanding lots of time,
but I'm sure glad their mine.

Prince Andrew in the press is tried, but he denied
both far and wide, as Duke of York (soon Earl?),
a train of thought upon the side,
a rain of sweat upon a girl.
Please, cork that Duke before I swirl!

I laid Duke to rest
leaving paw prints in my heart
his frayed leash hangs by the door
Since Duke passed away
I go on my daily walks
wishing he was by my side

Down
mine self
Locked within mine duke
tramped on stony earth
Whilst tears from mine comrade
‘Bout mine separated torso’s limb drops
he lifts mine
exhausted me
Two storied teams
Creme-de-la-creme
Yet one has to lose
To sing the blues
Tear-stained its dreams

< Once came along an man named John Wayne
Winchester by his side causes more pain
Dusty trails ballroom brawls
Battlefield's muddy crawls
The duke of western inflicting gains
Incessant, scream
of existing silence,
Withdraws,
When watching
The flat screen
Vast planes,
A flame of a lady,
Presents, her assembled
Plate, before the shinning
Duke
Microwave, baked beans
pressing my tongue, to knuckle,
sip of milk, listening
To gun fire, wiz,
On surround sound
