Notes About The Poem

When Duke Arrives

================

When Duke arrives,
don't be around...

No cat survives,
when Duke arrives.

Need all nine lives?
Don't make a sound!

When Duke arrives -
don't be around.

Hi Lycia! Liked your new triolet. You seem to favor them aside from limerick. How've you been? Happy weekend dear. hugs

Hi Kim! Yes, I'd have to say that the Triolet is one of my very favorites. I like to try and come up with a primary phrase that can be interpreted in a slightly different way each time it's used. Like through punctuation, or inflection, or whatever. If you know of any other such tricky poetics, tell me about them, okay?
