Dreamily my eyes they open,
And my mind to running verse,
Line on line passes with me
To flow again when pen's in hand.

modish at midnight

admiring change
through chocolate eyes
and hungry hearts
to submerge in pure water
with unbridled zest
I love my chocolate
by megagallons
of extravagance
served in fountains
dipping strawberries
marshmallows
and bananas
such delightful opulence
forever and a day

In the pale mist of dawn, a rower glides quietly
across a creamy, yellow lake in a golden glow.
An ethereal fog settles dreamily over the waters
as muted paddles create rippled works of art.

Summer lover's moon shyly enclosed in
silvered clouds,
a honeyed recollection,
white caps of memory waves,
cresting, curling dreamily,
a tide under eve's star canopy,
coupled in enchantment,
entwined on the beach. ~

Shimmering, alive
Flickering music to night
Waking the starlight
Dancing like the stars
Reflecting grace, silent praise
Whispering kindness
Mysterious lights
Singing through the darkest night
Laughing dreamily
My fingers glide through autumn’s hues -
green and crimson glisten among
ripples of gold and persimmon.
My hand caresses cool crystal.
Still are fall’s bright trees along the river.
They fill my eyes as dreamily I drift.
Clad in flowing purple
Like a full-bodied
Cabernet Sauvignon
She vanishes into the
Shadows of the night
While I stand alone,
Dreamily savouring
The lingering aftertaste
Of her aromatic kiss.

Walking in wishes, dreamily dazed

Loathing my Heart and its wicked ways
(Endless in holes, abysses and chasms)
Oh, where in space do I belong?
Intent to repent, but trapped in wrongs
Our lives are lies we thus surmise-
The pain- forever prolonged
You of carefree smile,
Tips of small white teeth
Dividing plump blush lips,
Pause here, stay a while
With me, sit beneath
This evening sky that grips
Our hearts as though
We'd been laid bare,
Exposed for heav'n to see.
Stay here. Do not go.
This moment ever rare,
Dreamily vivid to me.
not a wisp taller than four foot two
sporting mile high stilettos
her tossed bleached hair
way up high in a loose chignon
red dress tails that effortlessly
flow dreamily behind her
without missing a beat

Life's, keeping up with.
Nerve-taut, no time to unwind;
With that running mind!
Breathless, batty, borne along
Too frantically.
A slow boat, for a bed!
Surest heals took to.
Cool blown, puts to sleep the best.
On its infant's rest
Of waters' gentle rockings.
Floaty-dreamily.
Wintery, cold winds
Sweeping and flowing
Across spring and summer meadows;
Dreamily tucked under snowy blankets,
Strong, bold shadows dancing upon
Crystallized, cool white drifts,
Crisp, clean worlds,
Endless in depth, individuality,
substance, and imagination
languishing lonely
as a cloud
drifting dreamily
from the crowd
shifting serenely
as the seas
rising roaming
in summer’s breeze
easing easily
by the sun
children chortling
with laughter run
fading faintly
is the day
drifting dissolving
into the bay
tenderly taken
by the night
silently slipping
out of sight
The worlds of utopia are like soap bubbles,
drifting in the air aimlessly and dreamily,
as they sometimes bond with each other,
becoming bigger.
Reality is one nasty needle that bursts
bubbles of utopia.....but sometimes
the bubbles swallow the needle,
imprisoning it in its own cause......
