night folds its wings
around your quiet breathing~
a silver hush drifting
through the doorway of sleep
dust drifts through doorway of the aging house
floorboards singing old secrets
to the settling sunlight
Asleep or blinded? Or worse
With lights out, passed away?
As which Christ left you, undisturbed
Homeless in that doorway?
Freedom's goal is unlocked hedged blocked lock doors walk on through

Too
late,
too late,
we panic,
in darkness we wait,
each doorway closing on the past-
un-noticed-windows of opportunities,so vast.
I thought graduation would feel like an ending.
Instead,
it feels like standing in a doorway,
not ready to leave
And unable to stay.
a doorway breathes out starlight
hinges sighing like ancient skies
galaxies pooling at its threshold
night waiting inside
Three
….. huddle in a wet doorway
……brown bag sipping
….any port in a storm.

shinning against black
the dazzling parade of stars
doorway to nights soul
Enter now, the quiet chambers of your mind.
Continue through the doorway of wisdom & deep Intelligence. Close the door behind you.
Now you are home.
Soft echoes of night
whisper dark stories to me.
Mystery beckons.
First light pierces morning fog,
the world of dreams dissipates.

Truth is not stagnant
nor a shallow trickle
of comfort; it is a
living word--a doorway
leading to eternal life.
To enter Truth
is to enter Freedom.
My cat thinks she’s got,
To use only her litter
Box inside the house.
Outside for hours she holds it;
Jets to box from doorway!
A neon light illumined
the soiled feet projecting from the box
in the nighttime doorway of the store.
Made in China,
the box,
and the soul within it.

She stood in the doorway
in see through gown.
Me, tied down.
She glides across the room.
White Diamonds perfume.
Mounts and rides
to sound of sexy tune.
Heaven's doorway,
The beautiful golden gates.
Wonder and peace,
For me awaits.
I can't wait to,
Walk through that doorway.
And never leave,
And forever stay.

Grandma sits outside
Sun cast glows on long tendrils
I watch from doorway
Unpinned tresses flowing loose
Past beauty remembered still
.
Shadows cross my doorway
Silence fills my soul
I smile at the coming of my friend
For darkness brings the quiet
Then peace at last begins
So, I wait
I wait for my friend

I am grateful to have people in my life…
who always make me smile…
They’re the ones who understand
the art to growing up
is to never close the doorway
to their inner child.
socks tossed to the wind
as I stand in the doorway
soiled laundry will have to wait
i need to hold on
to my grandson, in throws of
theatrical night terrors

peek through the doorway
he hides roses, not the bill—
love has its limits
WINTER IS COMING
Dried leaf scratches its noisy way
Across my path.
Cat retreats deeper into the doorway
Out of the blistering wind.
Skyful of clouds, smell of snow.
Winter is coming.
Greece's sun is warmer than other suns
her floral and fauna are prettier
she is the place where dreams come true
every doorway hides a story of love
it is the place where people go to be whole
