Awww, maybe your kitty has a shy bladder.. ;) Your tanka is endearing and adorable, M.L. A great title tops your wonderful poem enlivened with the urgent imagery of your last line. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan

She's a hoot when she runs in and heads straight for the box. Gets so desperate but, she just won't go outside. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks so much.

Yes, she is one of those little hip-wigglers that marches up and down the driveway, teasing the lab next door. She knows he can't get to her because of the fence. Still, she's a loveable little one. Thanks again, Caren.

A true story; I've never seen a cat that wouldn't go outside until I got this one. Thanks again, Gershon.
