Metephoric field,

Disaster,
Stranger,
Romance.
all day long the heads
talk of doom and disaster
warning us to stay calm
the end of days is nigh
an old poet finds a word
creeks overflowing
dangerous late summer rains
flood waters churning
Written September 7, 2022
Children’s’ blizzard of 1888
January 12th was actual date
Grim reaper busy
Turmoil tizzy
Two hundred children met a death fate
Devestation by the mountain, a warning now to all.'
Life is fragile.' Who can know.? Or avert when such a disaster
Decides to fall.?

Bruce was a hard taskmaster
Who ordered his staff to work faster
The faster they went
Bruce would not relent
Causing a major disaster
mister master
i found you
you left messy
disaster, you couldn't
have run any faster.
mister master
i hate you
with all my heart.
So much a face I did once know
So much death do those eyes now show
So much for happy ever after,
Me? I’m probably into another disaster
Indigenous your home
Incomprensible
Indestructable ship
Indecisive captain
Interrupted this trip
Impression of safety
Indelible losses
If your living expenses and
Utilities are steady climbing
And the wages are not
Even if you're on a fix income
It's a recipe for disaster
Of my old school mates
cheeky John Doody
from Ascot Vale West
I remember best
one of the great heroes
from the West Gate Bridge disaster.
The cry,
The crimson pain.
The suffering,
The salty rain.
The thought-to-be,
The oh so real.
The disaster,
The death from what we feel.
Demolished cities; citizens panic
Liquidation is here; leaders are manic
Casualties increase; hope is diminished
Faith is lost; Life is finished
self made disaster
inner dialogue too loud
to see the light

CORPORAL SLEEP
Nick Armbrister and other writers
Once again night gathers,
beckoning your tears.
Sorrow shatters laughter,
echoing your fears.
You tragic disaster,
what fruit can life bear?
How do you write so fast he asked her
Meaning why do you think you’re smart?
Foreseeing a mini-disaster
She asked him about his own perceived art
Once again night gathers,
beckoning your tears.
Sorrow shatters laughter,
echoing your fears.
You tragic disaster,
what fruit can life bear?
Boom! was all we heard
houses sunk into the earth
the foul smell of death
Another heavy blow
upon the Caribbean home
earthquake took it's toll
Columbus of magic was fighting for inner logic who saw a flat world of ruler disaster that sat on a merry go round ride created by our gravity master.
Falling rocks like love
and friendship can go down fast
what a disaster
Saying, I'm sorry
giving out much needed hugs
crush the rocks to sand
Disaster fell upon Soup Creek
When everyone heard Jenna shriek,
"Tom's Marmite was taken!
He'll have to eat bacon
Unless we all play Hide 'n Seek!"
