Half of clam shell sits deserted
Scene's purity threatened by storm
Gravitational force pulls sea
.
deserted asphalt road -
distance never healed
A mensch: I wonder what happens to Rose or Poem that dies
DESIGNER: fauna and flora in deserted crags exist, first, for My eyes
I have passed
through several deserted hearts
whose inhabitants had already fled,
I got what it was for
just before I fled
she was chucked aside
abandoned and forsaken
learning lifes lesson
discarded and dumped
throwm away and deserted
an abused child
The streetlight spread
like an abandoned strip
old hot spots deserted
with no moths no buzz zip
the party is over
nightlife is dead.
Snow desert,
Soon be deserted.
Nature hath asserted
Humanity must be averted
From path of death.
Otherwise, we will have the last breath.
along the deserted way
to her heart
but alone,
which is really so hard
for me to carry that loneliness
over my head
as an unvisible crown
Agile nostalgic time traveler retrieves
Reminiscence framing snapshots of mirage life,
Tucks deserted dream collage in album.
Lost
Gone
Deserted
Fallen
Can't get up
Struck
Let down
Can't move on
Despaired
Look deeply into her soul
You see it clear
This girl
This woman
Is broken
Mike said he could not see a pear
walking one day at a food fair.
In a deserted spot,
his gal told him “Why not”
and flashed him a chest that was bare.
Days stream by
leaves on a river
Nights drag on
hard frozen ground
Life's promise deserted
barren branches
December's transit
bound for nowhere
her children used to adore her
they are too far away to visit.
her dogs have deserted her
through death like her husbands
she is glad for her terrific memories
breast suckled not barren deserted
breath not shared lungs bloated
beasts severed a lot skin pierced
bread not served shaken bruised
burnt hunger of love cried
Form:
who-----now-------------for me----------away everything----------------------enough
-----says----an old song-------you went-------------------the road is deserted
The last days
cling to the year
like late leaves
to the oak trees.
Every song
is a goodbye.
Time’s tired steps
echo hollow
in the deserted birds nests.
Listen to poem:
Playground deserted,
haunted, in ghost town.
Rusty swing creaking
as the wind swings
the empty seat
from side to side,
echoing an eerie toll
to a town
that died.
They were 'futuristic scenes'
'Coming soon' to cinema screens
Forlorn, abandoned downtowns
deserted streets, rot and decay
Forget the cinemas ~ future's here today
Dispersed on a deserted earth
Earth --- scrapes indestructible wings
Wings unbound in heart and in flight
Flight --- soul’s release and revelation
By Marckincia Jean
In dusty Karoo towns
Sunday afternoons are
sentences of solitary confinement
Deserted streets
closed doors and windows
No sign of life
One wonders if the rapture
has taken place
Lined up like third-graders
on the fence of a deserted ballfield
after a week of Indian summer –
cast-off sweaters, mittens, coats.
From a treetop, birds recite
the morning lesson.
With no new colors
Pure as driven snow
White water
Washes my deserted
cuts clean
Same as before
Same as it ever was
Cue the exit music
For the family
branches
Are wilting again
For instance
Time is timeless
My table is deserted
My café cup
Is drunk, tired, and exhausted
What remains from
This endless day
Some 67 cents
In my pocket
And a broken cigarette.
Form:
From her disappearing act
A ghost arose in my soul
Wailing the sorrows I drown in
A fragmented heart slowly bleeds from my eyes
The deserted, raw hollow
forever haunted
What To Do With Trump
What to do with Trump we contemplated;
Have him sedated and then evacuated,
To a deserted isle;
We did with smile;
Those responsible were congratulated.
