Daylight Savings Time
Daylight savings time was for farmers
But its demise is now on the brink
Whether to keep it or let it go
I wonder what Big Ben workers think?...

The sparrows don't know
we're saving daylight,
still rising at the same hour.
Hearing squirms of worms,
their wings take flight.
Over nature man has no power....

                       Northward bound, SPRING springs forward___

They promise is just fine
Once you get use to it, it is subline
Until then whatever goes wrong
You are to blame
Hopefully that doesn't happen
If it does, "Shame"

Daylight Savings Time
The clocks are moving on again.
Their time and place contraire.
To look upon their face again
will leave you worse for ware.

For time has changed to light the day
and keep us brighter for it.
In truth we took the time to chase
it's hands around it's orbit....

Why Frank’s Hot Sauce isn’t
and Daylight Savings Time doesn’t
and times they ain’t changing
in a land where all white men
are created equal.

Between 1500 and 1800
to this New World came
2.5 million Europeans
12.5 million purloined Africans
while 55 million Indigenes succumbed
to disease and systematic genocide.

And the land of the free ain’t....

Daylight Savings Time
This Sunday morning, an hour of our time was lost. However, benefits heavily outweigh the cost. An hour later comes the darkness of the night. That way, we use less electricity for light. We have another hour of sunlight in our day. It's more convenient for us if we work or play. We will get that hour back in the fall. An extra hour of sleep will be great for us all.

March 7th
Snow lay hard and crunching on the ground,
brilliant white blinding reflections of the sun
and daylight savings time marks and says
 let's spring ahead
like that will make all the difference.

Time is time spent in minutes, hours
the days and weeks stretching ever forward
regretting the loss of things and experiences past
 never to be repeated
but clinging tightly to the present....

Had Heard My Clock Chiming
Had Heard My Clock Chiming
So wrote this limerick that is rhyming
In time are many grains of sand
And if you have a small hand
Hard to set clock and its timing.

My old clock soon stopped ticking
And out new one started picking
Hour earlier it happened to be
Daylight Savings Time did see
Or maybe again it was sticking.

The End of Time Tonight
Tonight we turn back time
The end of
Daylight savings time

A chore for me
I have over 30 clocks
As a clock-maker, not
A fake owner of one or two

I dread two times a year
Forward or backward
Make up your mind
This takes to much time

I never understood this rule
I like time the way it is
Time never changes
So, why do we have to change it?

(A clock I am working on for a friend the skull moves back and forth)...

Saving Daylight
I guess it is almost that time of year
When we head to our clocks and move the gear.

In the spring it is forward we will hear
And I will lose an hour of sleep I fear.

In the fall it's set them back an hour
To give us more sun to devour.

They call this Daylight Savings Time
Yet do we ever really save a dime?

Better use of daylight they say
Yet at the office till dark I stay.

Saving daylight for some it may be
Saving daylight for me I don’t see....
