Daylight Savings Time

The sparrows don't know
we're saving daylight,
still rising at the same hour.
Hearing squirms of worms,
their wings take flight.
Over nature man has no power.

Yep, nature's completely oblivious to our time change invention.

Was just reading about Daylight Savings Time and found out we are now back to standard time (fall back). So now we're back to "normal." I'd always referred to both as "Daylight Savings Time." Oh well, a poem for spring.

I love this. Never enjoyed the time changes it messes with me like the sparrow my body wants the same routine I feel man has no right. Good penning my friend :). Our poem on my page is getting much feedback. You may go thank them if you want :) hugs

I actually like daylight savings time because I need that extra hour of sleep this time of year, but my body still wakes me up somewhere in-between the hour. That's exciting about our poem! I took a peak at the comments. Thanks again, Sandra. Poetic hugs.
